We're happy to discuss flexible working hours, patterns, and locations to suit you and the business. **What You'll Be Doing** **Job Scope:** The Scheduler develops early project schedules that incorporate appropriate functional input to ensure project success. This position works with the project leadership team to ensure accurate and timely schedule controls are implemented and maintained during the project lifecycle. The selected individual will also provide oversight on projects that are executed with external engineering services (EPCM). This oversight will include establishing clear Owner expectations on EPCM deliverables and monitor EPCM progress as well as Earned Value Methodologies (EVM). This is a Hybrid role. Three days onsite & two days remote. **Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:** + Develop and manage early Front-End Loading (FEL) scheduling activities to meet project needs + Define resources in the project and identify any overallocations + Develop the schedule basis document accounting for project assumptions, concerns, risks/opportunities, exclusions + Provide input and functional oversight for scheduling activities post-FEL including provision of regular schedule updates + Lead or participate in interactive planning workshops with the project team and contractors + Lead project schedule risk analysis to ensure thorough understanding of risks and strategies to mitigate issues + Provide input to Constructability Reviews + Ensure team focus of critical path tasks and those with potential to turn critical + Assess, analyze, and validate contractor-provided schedules for quality, reasonableness, and competitiveness throughout the project lifecycle + Audit, validate and confirm physical progress and earned value calculations for both inhouse and contractor activities + Assess schedule impact of project changes and incorporate into project schedules + Track and implement project schedule updates + Ensure Project Controls Reports are issued to the project team in accordance with documented Project Controls Plans (frequency, format, etc.) + Provide updated final schedule to project team at project closure + Participate in developing the project risk register and risk management process for all projects **Ideal Background** **Experience:** This position requires 10+ years of capital project experience. 5-15 years' experience scheduling capital projects. **Required, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Proficiency in the following is required: + Industry standard best practice project scheduling processes and their application + Broad understanding of EPCM disciplines and activities that are necessary to design, construct, and start-up chemical processes + Ability to interface and communicate clearly with project teams + Primavera, MS Project + Earned Value Calculations **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. \#LI-MR1 **Hargrove Culture** We work to create an environment founded on trust, personal integrity, and a "team mentality" so that each person understands the value of their contributions both on a project and company-wide level.
