Events Administrator
The Events Administrator at NYU Wagner will be responsible for: (a) assisting with the running of School-wide signature events including event space scheduling, space set-up, and technology coordination; (b) serving as a consultant to internal Wagner units and groups to help plan and execute School-wide, student-facing, and recruitment-related events; (c) managing fully virtual and hybrid events, including all technological elements (e.g., live streaming); (d) overseeing Wagner's event proposal form, as well as the supervision of related events registration and ticketing pages.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Bachelors degree in business, communications or other relevant field.Required Experience:3+ years Minimum 2-3 years related professional events administration experience in a fast paced environment. Must have experience planning and facilitating small and medium size events.Preferred Experience:Experience in a higher education environment, working with budgets, and managing students or interns. Relevant experience in an events (in-person and virtual), or project management role.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Must have exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary for this role. Must possess professionalism and the ability to interact with senior-level staff members from within the university and external organizations. Candidate must be patient, flexible, have the desire to work in a fast-paced and often changing environment, and willing to work a flexible schedule (such as occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on event schedule). Experience with Zoom meetings and webinars, database management, Google calendar, MailChimp/EMMA or similar emailing software. Ability to lift and transport up to 25lbs is an essential function of the position.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Webpage development and HTML skills are preferred.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $88,500. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
