    A Janitor is responsible for performing custodial services in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a safe and sanitary manner. Will perform a full range of custodial duties related to the care, maintenance and cleaning of all assigned buildings and facilities within the government contract to include both routine maintenance as well as non-routine assignments. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Basic Janitorial duties including, but not limited to, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms and kitchens. Additional assignments may include floor care such as carpet cleaning, wax and buffs and spray buffs. Buildings will be maintained so as to be in compliance with contract standards and present a clean sightly appearance. Operating floor care machinery as required. May be required to drive to outlying areas. Regular customer interaction during performance of services. Other duties as assigned by immediate Supervisor. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: Ability to comply with all safety requirements and wear personal protective equipment at all times.
