As a CMP (Chemical- Mechanical- Polishing) Production Associate involved in the production of Semiconductor materials you will focus on the fabrication of Infrared Materials for Raytheon Vision Systems, a manufacturer that provides leading edge sensing technology. We are looking for an individual who must demonstrate a safety-first routine. Work consists of a combination of routine production and non-routine engineering support under minimal or no supervision. You will be following ISO controlled process procedures in an environmentally controlled, semiconductor (cleanroom) environment that required handling of fragile materials and potentially hazardous process chemicals; this will require use of personal protective equipment. You will draw from your experiences in a related field to assume responsibilities for managing your work area and nominal operation of a laboratory. You will participate in production meetings, actively participating in schedule and priority discussions, work with colleagues to assure optimal workflow.
*2nd Shift- 3:00PM - 11:30PM - Lompoc, CA. This position is an onsite role. *
What you will do:
Responsible for production execution in a semiconductor laboratory/cleanroom environment
Thorough understanding of the technical aspects associated with your assigned process and ability to work with process engineering to resolve production issues.
Use a computer to access work instructions, make technical calculations, timekeeping, perform data entry and on-line training.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High School Diploma/ GED or Equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience with manual and semi-automated processing equipment
Minimum 2 years of Wafer Semi-Conductor Fabrication experience.

What You Will Do

As a Senior Process Technician, you should be able to perform all aspects of the following semiconductor device processes:
Photoresist application, delineation and removal; preparation and use of wet chemical processes needed to etch and prepare semiconductor surfaces and etch patterns in semiconductor, dielectric and metal films; and operate within and maintain cleanliness requirements of class 100 clean room
Complete knowledge of safe handling processes for hazardous chemicals and chemical waste
Enter process information into production and engineering level computer databases
Work with production supervision, production engineering and research engineering personnel to design and execute projects aimed at improving controls of production processes and develop processes for new devices
Interface and coordinate with engineers and technicians in other areas of the semiconductor fabrication process such as thin film coating, dicing and assembly and test operations
This is a second shift position with initial training performed during first shift.
Once hired, candidate should expect to rotate and learn different functions of the production floor during their employment.

Brief Description of Department
The Lead Technician, Facilities is responsible for reliable and consistent operation of building systems for mechanical rooms, offices, labs, clean rooms, and support areas. Candidate will ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on HVAC units, motors, pneumatic tools, and other facilities equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facilities equipment. Qualifications You Must Have
This position typically requires an AS/AA degree or other 2 year post High school education, training or certification and 8 years of applicable experience gained in a corporate Facilities Maintenance or other industrial setting.
At least 5 years' experience as an HVAC Mechanic with strong trouble shooting skills to include general knowledge of Pneumatic controls, thermostats and VAV Boxes

Experience with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning (AI/ML)
Professional experience with the full life-cycle product development and integration of automation systems (vision, robotics, servo, controls, etc.)
Ignition development experience
Python or other scripting experience
Data analysis or data analytics experience
Good knowledge of safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) and electrical compliances
Experience with control systems design (AutoCAD preferred)
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
