Harmony Senior Services CEO and leadership

Margaret Cabell joined the Harmony team in January 2020. Margaret brings a balanced mix of Sales and Operations leadership experience of over 15 years in senior living. Margaret started her professional career as a Programs Director with American Retirement Corporation and enjoyed several years as an Executive Director, and then was promoted though Brookdale to a Regional Director of Operations, Regional Director of Sales, Divisional Director of Sales and most recently to the Divisional VP of Sales and Marketing. Margaret has successfully led the Sales and Marketing of over 240 communities of all product types and styles in multiple markets through the South East and Texas. Margaret is originally from Richmond, Virginia and has an undergraduate degree from William and Mary and a graduate degree from George Washington University. She also serves on the Board of the Cabell Foundation, a nonprofit in Richmond.

Steve brings over 33 years of experience in Senior Housing starting in skilled nursing and moving into assisted living in 1993, working with major senior living organizations such as Atria, Merrill Gardens and Horizon Bay. Most recently Steve spent 19 years with Brookdale Senior Living as the Senior Vice President of Regional Operations with oversight of 90 communities in Florida and Georgia.

As the SVP, Steve successfully provided change leadership with market and company demands, mentored and developed award winning and nationally recognized regional leaders, and proactively repositioned assets in the market for optimal service to the local community.

Steve is originally from East Tennessee and earned a BS Degree in Long Term Care Administration from Southern Adventist University which was the first NAB accredited program in the United States. Steve enjoys sports and traveling and spending time with his wife Carol and son Tyler. He continues to serve on the Georgia Senior Living Board of Directors, as he has done for the past 10 years.

Gloria Holland is a Chief Financial Officer at Harmony Senior Services and is based in Charleston, South Carolina. She has experience at BRINKER and has worked as VP:Finance at Capital Senior Living, Corporate Finance at Brinker International Inc., and Assistant Treasurer at Aurum Technology Inc.. Gloria attended University of Mississippi between 1986 and 1989, The University of Mississippi Ole Miss, and Sikeston High School.

Yvonne Rickert joined Harmony Senior Services in May of 2019. Yvonne has over 30 years of leadership experience in the senior living industry. Yvonne started as VP of Human Resources in the skilled nursing arena and has spent the last 17 years at LCS as an Officer level Human Resource & Operations professional. She served as a key member of the senior living executive leadership team for multiple community portfolios including Life Plan, Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing. Yvonne was responsible for the HR business partner support of the LCS community portfolio and the HR professionals that support the day to day operations of the Life Care Services operations portfolio. She created and led the Talent Acquisition team, also the LCS Assurance Program, and championed their employee experience initiatives. Working alongside Operations, she successfully on boarded over 100 communities including the development and disengagement of many. Yvonne is a national presenter and sits on the Board of SHINE and also the Workforce Development Committee at Argentum. Prior to LCS, she worked in various other health care companies and was an entrepreneur, owning two woman’s retail boutiques along the CT shoreline. She holds a graduate degree in Human Industrial Relations from the University of New Haven.

John Garrett is a Chief Financial Officer at Harmony Senior Services and is based in Charleston, South Carolina. He has worked as Controller at Consolidated Graphics Print Management Group, a CGX Company; Senior Financial Analyst at RRD Packaging Solutions Durham; and Regional Controller at Enterprise. John attended North Carolina Wesleyan College between 1997 and 1999 and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill between 1987 and 1991.
