A Host/Hostess at Kiawah Island Club will excel at applying empathy to every person so they may create and maintain our members' loyalty, while ranking their teammate's needs even higher. A Kiawah Island Club host/hostess will be an expert at prioritizing to produce efficiency in this fast-paced, multi-faceted, club environment. Service periods include lunch, brunch and dinner. Responsibilities * Responsible for greeting members as they enter the club, whether it involves normal dinner service or special parties. * Hosts will guide members to their tables as they walk in, presetting their table as necessary. * Hosts will asked to run for wine throughout the night and maintain inventory as they go. * Hosts will organize and maintain the floorplan and generate the final cover count at the end of each shift. * Hosts will be the primary voice of dinner service, answering any calls throughout the evening. * Hosts will communicate with management regarding walk-ins and overflow. * Maintain and curate notes on member preferences. * Hosts are responsible for checking all restrooms and replenishing necessary items.
