Chestnut Hill Lodge Health and Rehabilitation Center - An excellent opportunity will be coming available for a Transport Driver who is accustomed to planning their route in advance to make efficient use of their time as well as fuel and wear on the facility van. Someone who likes to also be involved in other aspects of the facility such as Central Supply, Maintenance and other operational departments when no transports are scheduled. Located in the Philadelphia suburbs, Chestnut Hill Lodge, is a 181 bed skilled nursing facility offering rehabilitation and healthcare services. Responsibilities include: Operating the facility's transport bus in a safe manner; ensuring the bus is clean with a full tank of gas each day. Alerting the facility administrator when the vehicle needs to be serviced, inspected and registration renewed. Coordinating with Nursing residents' appointments for the next day to ensure residents are ready for their pick up time as well as to ensure the schedule and routes are confirmed eliminating conflicts to avoid missed appointments. Greeting the resident at their nursing unit, assisting them on/off the bus and into/out of physicians' offices, etc. Being friendly and professional at all times; interacts well with residents, care providers and co-workers.
