RF Cable Test Technician (Secure Federal Facility - Y-12) Oak Ridge, TN | W2 Project Assignment | Starts November 10, 2025 We're seeking an experienced RF Cable Test Technician to support a large-scale coax cable validation project at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, TN. This project includes sweeping, testing, and documenting over 500 coax cables across multiple buildings within a highly secure federal facility. Technicians will perform RF sweep testing, verify and replace connectors as needed, and record all results according to strict QA/QC standards. This role requires precision, reliability, and the ability to work under federal security and safety protocols (no personal electronics allowed on site).
