Must be able to operate one or more machines as required to meet production and quality standards. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential) Skillfully spray paint products. * Must have knowledge of spray painting techniques and equipment. * Required to have knowledge of all required components. * Must be able to use shop mathematics; must be able to read and understand blueprints and written specifications. * Must be able to operate one or more machines as required to meet production and quality standards. * Must be able to lift 1 to 50 pounds several times per day. * Must be able to stand, walk, bend over, twist and reach in order to pick up parts to paint and retrieve parts and equipment from other areas of the plant. * Must be able to see, read, and write in order to comprehend safety warnings, read assembly instructions, do necessary paperwork, etc. * Must be able to communicate with supervisors, dispatchers, inspectors, etc. * Must be able to learn and have a long term memory; i.e., to understand assembly instructions. * Punctuality and regular attendance are important to maintain manufacturing schedules. * Will be exposed to some dust, smoke, and fumes normal to any manufacturing environment. * Special Location/Position Requirements: The Air Spray Painter “A” must have excellent knowledge of spray painting techniques.
