The Position

The Position

Position Summary
The Private Wealth Management (PWM) group at Harris Associates is dedicated to providing personalized investment solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and related institutions. We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to provide support to the three teams within the department: Client Service, Portfolio Implementation, and Portfolio Management. This 12-week internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of investment management and contribute to meaningful projects. Duties and responsibilities
Complete daily tasks for the Client Service and Portfolio Implementation team, including next-day trade checks.
Take ownership of a summer-long project to present at the end of the internship.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of procedures.
Attend weekly stock selection group (SSG) meetings where our analysts evaluate existing investments and introduce new ideas.
Other responsibilities will be assigned based on departmental needs and individual's abilities.
Required
A current freshman or sophomore enrolled in a bachelor's with a focus on finance, economics, business, or a related field.
Genuine interest in investing and finance, with a basic understanding of financial markets.
