Job Summary
The Medical Director is responsible for medical care of patients at the Healthcare for the Homeless Health Center and supervision of physicians and nurse practitioners. This role supports and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach to healthcare delivery, monitors quality of care, and provides leadership in creating a culture of collaboration and excellence in clinical care, education, research, and evidence-based practices. The Medical Director promotes continuous performance improvements in clinical and health system practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: MD or DO required
Licensure: Physician must be registered in the State of Texas; Family Medicine MD
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with patient navigation, care management, or direct service provision to patients in a healthcare setting
Special Requirements
Language Skills: Bilingual preferred; Spanish/English or English/Vietnamese
Communication Skills: Above average verbal and written skills; heavy public contact
Other Skills: Analytical, PC proficiency
Work Schedule: Flexible; eligible for telecommute, travel, weekends

Certification in CT by the ARRT

Job Summary
The Medical Director is responsible for medical care of patients at the Healthcare for the Homeless Health Center and supervision of physicians and nurse practitioners. This role supports and facilitates an interdisciplinary team approach to healthcare delivery, monitors quality of care, and provides leadership in creating a culture of collaboration and excellence in clinical care, education, research, and evidence-based practices. The Medical Director promotes continuous performance improvements in clinical and health system practices while ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: MD or DO required
Licensure: Physician must be registered in the State of Texas; Family Medicine MD
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience with patient navigation, care management, or direct service provision to patients in a healthcare setting

Bachelor's Degree in Radiology Sciences, Business and/or Management preferred
Certification in CT by the ARRT
Valid MRT license from the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
Current CPR certification
Five (5) years of work experience in CT Clinical
