Good pay and good benefits, Long lunches, making out with the beautiful cashiers that work there and no one says anything. Can have my schedule adjusted at the last minute if need be.also i can come in late and stay late to make up my time if need be.

The bosses are weak, cruel and sometimes dont care about other asssociates they dont always take care of you and sometimes they make you work long hours. Its not fun and also your co workers can be a pain ,.

Worked at Harris Teeter for 15 years, across retail jobs and the corporate level. Great family atmosphere, but the leadership style is very blue-collar and outdated. Overall they promote from within which is great for internal associates but also very much limits the type of brainpower/intellect making business decisions

Senior leadership... these executives are almost all former store managers who were successful operators, but that doesn't always translate to corporate leadership

Annual bonuses are a great feeling, and they are always paid out
