Employee will be asked to complete training at Harrison County Hospital and must be able to come in for business purposes. Employees in the role must reside in Kentucky or Indiana. Position available: Full-time, Days, 32-40 hrs/wk. The Coder reports directly to the HIM Director. The Coder performs the assignment of ICD-10 diagnosis and procedures and CPT procedure codes for billing and classification of medical records for both Inpatient and Outpatient charts. REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS: Must have detailed knowledge of third party reimbursement rules and regulations including Medicare and Medicaid. Complies and adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to speak English fluently. Must be able to speak and understand medical terminology. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Must have high school education. Must have CCS certification. Must have excellent ICD-10-CM, CPT, and CCS coding skills. Must have detailed knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy/physiology.     Harrison County Hospital is seeking to hire a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Med/Surg and TCU Department. PRN, Nights, 12 hr shifts. Under the supervision of the Department of Nursing this position performs the receptionist and secretarial duties on the patient care unit; serves as the focal communication source in the nursing station through interaction with patients, visitors, staff, other departments and physicians; and assists the staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the hospital. This employee demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, to adequately assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to provide age-specific needs.
