Harrison Medical Center company history timeline
1931 — City General is renamed Olympic Hospital.
1942 — Olympic Hospital Inc. is dissolved and Harrison Memorial Hospital is formed as a nonprofit organization at Eighth and Chester.
1956 — The Puget Sound and Harrison Memorial hospitals are merged at Sixth and Marion following a contentious debate over which facility should serve the community.
1995 — Harrison Port Orchard opens.
2004 — Thirty-three beds and a rooftop helipad are added to Harrison Bremerton.
2009 — Harrison urgent care clinics open in Belfair and Port Orchard.
2014 — Harrison urgent care opens on Bainbridge Island.
