We guarantee 15-25 hours per week with an hourly pay of between $25/hr. and $45/hr., depending on the In-Home Usage Test project. No experience required. It is important to note that during your application process, reputable market research companies will determine your demographics and consumer profile to establish what products would be suitable for you to test. Market research companies that partner with us will use questionnaires to identify and target certain types of consumers, to ensure that the right participants are engaged and to achieve the representative sample needed. Participation in these product testing and consumer panels is always free, secure and private. In-Home Usage Testing is a quick, easy and fun way to make extra cash by telling big brands what you think about their upcoming products and services in the American market. Main Duties: Properly document In-Home Usage Tests as instructed in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule (screenshots, audio recordings, videos, product journal entries, etc.) Take care of the product being tested and use it responsibly Read and strictly follow the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule provided with each product testing project (may include tasks such as unpacking, reading instructions, journal entries, online or mobile feedback, usage of product for a certain amount of time, writing reviews, taking pictures, etc.) Some In-Home Usage Tests projects may require participants to use MFour's Mobile In-Home Use Test Technology (cutting-edge smartphone technology to capture Point-of-Emotion insights to gain unparalleled depth of responses) There are times when the product being tested may be discussed in a private chat room that is opened by a market research firm Write reviews as requested in the In-Home Usage Test Daily Schedule for each project Requirements: Ability to follow specific instructions Excellent attention to detail and curious spirit Be able to work 15-25 hours per week and commit to a certain routine Have access to a computer and a reliable internet connection Have access to a digital camera or cell phone that takes pictures -Be honest and reliable -Good communication skills are an asset -18 years or older A paid Product Tester position is perfect for those looking for an entry-level opportunity, flexible or seasonal work, temporary work or part-time work. Paragon is a virtual distant learning program where students are guided through a 15-week training program designed to educate students on the fundamentals in bathing and grooming, while also providing the necessary basic skills in safety, pet first aid and CPR, pet handling skills, dog anatomy and dog physiology. This is achieved through a combination of hands-on practice, book work, online exams, watching videos and submitting photos of practical application for grading. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)** As a Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the the following requirements: + Maintain regular and predictable attendance. + Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs. + Take the initiative to support selling initiatives (TEAM): + Thank the Customer + Engage with the customer and/or pet + Advise products or services + Make it Memorable + Groom Technicians in Training are required to learn & perform a combination of the following duties throughout their training program. Sanitize and maintain holding tanks and care for live animals as required + Complete all documentation associated with any of the above job duties + May also be required to perform other duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications** Experience: Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats. Ability to demonstrate patience and compassion for animals. **Must provide own tools (clippers, blades, shears) or be willing purchase required tools.** Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Responsibilities * Rapidly gain fluency in a 2M+ line VB.NET codebase, helping evolve it for today's needs. * Build and enhance our C# middle layer using Entity Framework Core. * Design and implement full-feature solutions alongside our product owner. * Triage and resolve critical, high-stakes bugs. * Own integrations with third-party APIs such as UPS, Vertex, FedEx, and Twilio. * Collaborate with other high-performing developers to raise the bar for the platform. Essential Skills * 6+ years of full stack development experience with VB.NET. * Proficiency in both legacy systems and modern C#/EF Core patterns. * Experience with legacy code migrations. * Strong skills in VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, Razor MVC, and SQL scripting. * Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core. * Familiarity with Azure DevOps and GitHub Copilot. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Experience with 3rd-party APIs such as UPS, Vertex, Twilio, FedEx, and Azure. * Knowledge of RESTful APIs and artificial intelligence software. Work Environment This development team operates 100% remotely, but candidates must live within a 4-hour drive of Nicholasville, KY, as occasional on-site collaboration is required. The team consists of 4 developers and does not follow any formal project management methodology.
