Job Responsibilities * Ensure the facility is operated in a safe manner and ensure that a safe work environment is provided and maintained to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries. * Oversee all environmental reporting and testing activities and ensure that required environmental programs are properly implemented and that the facility maintains full compliance with all permits.

* Prepare monthly reports detailing significant plant activities and updates on the facility operating plan. This includes the preparation of budget variance reports.
* Communicate effectively with the site staff, management, facility owners, vendors, and outside agencies.
* Provide a weekly update to EthosEnergy covering significant issues and events at the project.
* Actively engage the owner in understanding their needs and expectations and demonstrate effective management skills in meeting or exceeding these needs and expectations.
* Responsible for the enforcement and compliance with the operations and maintenance agreement.
* Prepare and submit to the facility owner, in a timely manner all reports and information required under the terms of the O&M agreement.
* Provide recommendations to the owner on plant upgrades and enhancements that would improve the reliability, performance, safety, or environmental readiness of the plant. The recommendations should include a cost-benefit analysis.
* Oversee the planning and implementation of maintenance and outage activities. Provide outage reports to the owner summarizing significant events of the outage.
Required Skills / Knowledge
* Demonstrated track record of successful goal achievement.
* A thorough demonstrated understanding of power plant operations, including a working knowledge of the operations & maintenance functions.
* A working knowledge of chemistry as it relates to plant operations as well as environmental and water treatment programs and statutory regulations.
* Understand budgets, bid proposals, contracts and LTSA, basic accounting principles, plant economics and power pool operations.
* Demonstrate the ability to make competent decisions in emergency situations.
* Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical diagrams/drawings, logic diagrams, and technical manuals.
* Ability to solve practical problems, clearly communicate tasks and needs, and training of other personnel.
* Knowledge of Quality Programs and tools.

* Experience in Operations of either a Simple or Combined Cycle Power Station or both.
* Experience operating and maintaining large frame gas turbines.
* Desired experience operating aeroderivative gas turbines for possible future expansion.
* A substantial number of years' relevant experience, with a significant proportion of this in management position.
* Desired "greenfield" experience with the development of a power plant.

* A four-year degree or commensurate experience is desired.

Summary
Spire is seeking a Facilities Operations Manager at its downtown Birmingham location. This position is responsible for the overall development, maintenance, and compliance of facility procedures and standards for maintenance, repair and janitorial services to ensure overall operating efficiencies and productivity at all facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Responsible for the overall development, maintenance and compliance of facility procedures and standards for maintenance/repair, construction, and janitorial to ensure overall operating efficiencies and productivity at all facilities assigned.
* Manage the strategic planning and direction of all activities related to the long-term condition of all buildings, equipment, and grounds and their occupants' well-being, including building improvements, building repair, emergency response, fire protection, energy use and safety procedures, etc.
* Manage the budget development and periodic review of financials of projects and other departmental spend, seeking input from regional Facility Business Partners; including the tracking of metrics, standard costs, and associated variance reporting
* Manage the facility condition assessment and inspection process. Responsible for an annual report to the Director with gap analysis and plan for correction. Supporting the department annual planning process in development of a long-range plan.
* Manage the portfolio of all construction and other facility projects for respective areas assigned, preparing a capital budget and tracking actuals.
* Create and support an environment focused on a positive visitor experience at all company facilities
* Keep abreast of latest facilities technologies, trends and industry benchmarks, incorporate improvements as needed in facilities processes and systems

The Facilities Manager will lead building management and preparedness across multiple locations that include office buildings, manufacturing sites, inventory warehouses and yards. The Facilities Manager will be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and coordination with landlord as well as execution of projects that improve safety, quality, and operational compliance of each facility.
You'll make an impact by:
* Acting as primary liaison with landlords for lease enforcement and coordination of maintenance work including structural, HVAC, and electrical system failures.
* Owning service agreements and utility contracts for service providers (security, cleaning, landscaping, waste/recycling, pest control etc.).
* Maintaining real estate and lease records, and ensuring compliance and cost control.
* Leading branding projects including facilities logos and building signage.
* Overseeing day-to-day facilities repairs and maintenance including lighting, plumbing, and fencing, etc.
* Implementing EOP (Emergency Operations Preparedness) plans, security protocols, and after-hours access for both office and manufacturing facilities.
* Ensuring compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and building codes facilitating permits and regulatory compliance.
* Managing office communications related to facilities (notices, updates, emergency alerts).
* Coordinating facilities space planning, furniture procurement, and facilitating new office configuration and relocations.
* Helping EHS with corrective actions implementations and PPE availability.
* Managing relationships with external vendors & contractors for facility related projects, including selection, performance oversight and contract adherence.
* Working with production and supply chain to schedule maintenance and contractor work so it does not impact production activities.
* Developing a preventive maintenance program for facilities and industrial equipment (Cranes, Forklifts, Racks, Overhead doors).

Overview:
The Facilities Maintenance Manager leads and manages all aspects of facilities operations for current and additional manufacturing facilities within the Pittsburgh area. Summary Objective
Manages all aspects of facility maintenance, Upkeep Maintenance software, equipment maintenance, building registrations / permits, utilities, grounds keeping, security and overall facility functionality and appearance.

Our position is for a full-time Facility Operator at our Little Rock, AR, facility. The ideal operator would possess good organizational, time management, problem-solving, and housekeeping skills. Our facility operators produce neat and polymer modified asphalt oil for sale to paving and repair customers. The position works in the tank farm with other operators as a team to produce, process, ensure quality, and load/unload materials directly to our customers.

Facility Operator Job Duties:
Assist with testing products in the lab
Input quality specifications and batch data into reports
Sample product quality
Load and unload trucks and railcars
Conduct minor maintenance on equipment in the plant (pumps, racks, mixers)
Attend and participate in daily production/quality/EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) meetings
Utilize our proactive tools (safety checklist, etc.)
Ensure good facility housekeeping
Stay current on required training
Wear the appropriate provided PPE (hard hat, face shield, long-sleeve shirt, H2S monitor, steel toe boots, safety glasses)
Effectively communicate between fellow operators, management, our trucking company and customers to meet needs
Operator Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in Excel (preferred)
Ability to work without supervision
Ability to read and follow written instructions
Basic math skills (e.g., add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Ability to learn computer skills
Able to lift 50 pounds with assistance and perform jobs that involve lifting, bending, climbing tanks and other structures
Valid driver's license
Able to work days and hours as scheduled, Monday through Sunday
Outdoor work in all seasons
