The Facility Operations Manager I is responsible for overseeing and managing all plant operations, including drum pumping, drum dumping, tank farm operations, truck offloading/loading, fuel blending, inventory, and waste tracking. This position ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, employee development, and adherence to Health and Safety standards while supporting the General Manager in facility performance and profitability. The Facilities Manager is responsible for topside structural and process maintenance of facilities within the framework of Talos Energy policies and procedures and in compliance with applicable regulations. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: This position will be responsible for topsides facilities maintenance of various Deepwater platforms within Talos Energy's Western Asset team, including managing a team of engineers and supporting staff. Verify correctness of design and engineering data. * Sizing calculations for process equipment, piping, in-line instruments, valves, and pipelines using company developed tools. * Review and approve key engineering drawings and calculations, including field and design documents relating to the discipline. * Gather data, including site surveys and existing conditions data to facilitate accurate design bases. * Development and oversight of drawings and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) * Review designs for efficiency of construction, use of materials, integrity and practicality of design. * Provide Supplier/Vendor selection expertise, review vendor/fabricator quotations.
