Andrew is the Executive Chairman and CEO of Harte Hanks, a global customer experience company that seamlessly blends the digital and physical through omnichannel marketing solutions.

Previously, he was Global Chief Commercial Officer at Bloomberg Media Group where he was responsible for advertising sales, marketing services, events, consulting, integrated franchises, and innovation.

Andrew also sits on the board of directors of Viad Corp (VVI:NYSE), a Small Cap 600 company, and is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Andrew was the global CEO of Havas Creative Group (a leading marketing communications network with 12,000 employees across 316 offices and 75 countries). In that role, he oversaw all aspects of the business, including, full P&L Responsibility, Corporate Strategy, Operations, Finance, People, Culture and Product. While there, he led the turnaround and business transformation of Havas Creative Group, driving significant year-over-year bottom and top-line growth.

Throughout his career he has received some of the industry’s most esteemed honors. He has been inducted into the AAF’s Advertising Hall of Achievement, honoring innovators under the age of 40 (2010), Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” (2010) and Crain’s New York Business’s “40 Under 40” (2009).

Andrew is a frequent contributor to the Financial Times, CNBC and CNN, and speaks regularly on the topics of corporate branding, CSR and marketing innovation.

He is also co-author of three business books, Consumed: Rethinking Business in the Era of Mindful Spending; Good for Business: The Rise of the Conscious Corporation; and The Talent Mandate: Why Smart Companies Put People First.

Pros of working at Harte Hanks

I like that we have enough independance to get work done on a daily basis without a supervisor looking over my shoulder 8 hours a day. My workspace is clean, spacious and my co-workers pitch in when needed. People seem truly kind to one another and I'm satisfied with the direction the company is heading. I see a bright future in store for Harte-Hanks with out fairly new CEO at the helm

Cons of working at Harte Hanks

The company has gone through a financial rough patch for some time now and pay increases have not been given out for many years. Some deserve more than others and I would hope that management will see who deserves a pay increase. Would like to see supervisors/managers take more advice from employees that could help better the company through these tough times.

We get free coffee, the occasional cook out and ice cream from time to time. More cookouts would be nice.
