The program offers flexibility to choose the benefits and benefit levels that best meet the needs of you and your family. -Medical and Dental Coverage Medical coverage is offered through Aetna, and dental coverage through Delta Dental. Coverage also may be purchased for a spouse and dependents to age 26. -Time Off Full- and part-time employees are eligible for Paid Time Off (PTO). Time off is accrued based on your employment status and years of service. -Hartford HealthCare observes the following legal holidays: New Year’s Day Memorial Day Independence Day Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day Group Short-Term Disability Insurance (STD) Short-term Disability insurance is provided to full- and part-time employees at no cost. This benefit provides 60% of base salary for up to 26 weeks. Benefits begin after one week of Paid Time Off (PTO) has been used, based on weekly standard hours. -Group Long-Term Disability Insurance (LTD) Long-term Disability insurance for 50% of your salary is provided to full- and part-time employees at no cost. A buy-up that covers 60% of your salary is optional. -Retirement Savings Eligible employees are automatically enrolled in the defined contribution 401(k) plan. You can contribute a percentage of your eligible pay on a pre-tax basis through payroll deduction. Retirement savings programs are managed by Fidelity. -Basic Life and Accident Insurance Full- and part-time employees are automatically enrolled for basic life and accident insurance at no cost, effective on the first day of the month after 30 days of employment. Voluntary supplemental life insurance may be purchased for you and members of your immediate family. -Flexible Spending Accounts Flexible spending accounts allow you to reduce your income tax obligation by setting aside money up front through payroll deductions to cover tax-deductible medical dependent care expenses that are not covered under your plan. -Paid and Unpaid Leaves of Absence May Be Granted For: Jury Duty Bereavement (Death of an Immediate Family Member) Maternity Care of a New Baby or Family Member (FMLA) Military Service Optional Benefits May Include: Tuition Assistance Auto Insurance Homeowners Insurance Critical Illness Insurance Legal Insurance Pet Insurance *Please note: Some benefits may vary depending on work location.
