A day in the life:
Supervise, direct, and coordinate employees, supplies and equipment. Responsible for ensuring the cleaning and maintaining of assigned property is completed according to contractual specifications.
Responsibilities
Maintain all payroll records, performance documents and disciplinary actions
Assign tasks to workers based on job requirements or special assignments
Perform quality control to conform with Harvard and customer standards
Train new and existing staff on proper cleaning techniques
Ensure proper safety equipment and techniques are utilized and adhered to
Order and issue supplies and equipment
Responds to customer issues and escalates as necessary
Responsible for general equipment maintenance
Manage projects and special assignment as requested
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience in the cleaning/janitorial field
Previous Supervisory experience preferred
Valid state driver's license
Must be able to communicate in English
Must be able to write basic business documents
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Hold professional conversations with clients, subordinates, and colleagues
Operate all basic office technology
Ability to conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups at all professional levels
Work in close proximity to others

Communicating reset plans with internal teams, brokers, DSD vendors, and any other individuals the retailer requests to be included in the process.

An autonomous results-oriented aptitude, with the ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities.

Primary Duties

What you'll need to be successful:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a scientific field required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction Management preferred.
Strong mechanical and electrical installation/troubleshooting aptitude.
Familiarity with company products is a plus.
OSHA-30 Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
Extensive domestic travel required; occasional international travel.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CAD.
Ability to read and interpret technical mechanical and electrical documents.

Identifies areas within the facility and grounds that need maintenance, repair, or replacement.
Oversees sub-contractors at the direction of the Area Mangers and Project Manager and their staff.
Performs regular inspections of rest rooms and common areas for sanitation, cleanliness, order, malfunctioning equipment, and safety.
Performs minor maintenance of facility such as changing light bulbs or filters, etc.
Greets customers and assists them with any questions or concerns.
Recognizes hazardous environments and corrects the issue accordingly.

Required Qualifications:
EXPERIENCE
Experienced 2+ years in an established direct Supervisor role. With a strong ability to lead, manage and direct employees.
Strong Janitorial and Facilities knowledge
Must be able to manage a variety of personality types without exhibiting stress.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have 1+ years' experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
Knowledge of applicable OSHA standards.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Fluent in English
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the maintenance and/or repair of buildings or other structures.
Working Conditions
Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.

In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles
