The Electrician will Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and distribution systems involving work of a varied nature with minimum supervision. Must have a minimum of four years' experience in the electrical maintenance field with the knowledge and understanding of high voltage and low voltage distribution systems. Shift: Mon.-Fri. 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Saturday/Sunday Off) Pay Rate: $43.67/per hour ESSENTIAL & OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS: * Keep records, write reports and identify electrical materials. * Work from blueprints, drawings, sketches and/or verbal instructions to plan, layout and install electrical equipment. * Must work on ladders, bucket trucks, scaffolds, and pits. * Read, write, understand and carry out oral and written instructions in English. * Establish and maintain a positive cooperative working relationship with supervisors, fellow workers, department heads and other members of the campus community. * Work in an environment subject to frequent changing of priorities and time deadlines. * Manually lift up to 60 pounds.
