In this role, you will be responsible for all preconstruction activities on Federal projects, including developing preliminary budgets, value engineering, preconstruction schedules, procurement plan, prequalification of subcontractors, detailed take-off and estimating, the definition of bid package scopes, the subcontractor/supplier bidding process, evaluation of bids, presentation of detailed estimates of the work, evaluation of alternatives and comparative studies. The candidate will be responsible for the design of mechanical, plumbing and utility systems for industrial food processing facilities. The primary applications include steam, compressed air, chilled water, hot water, domestic water, HVAC/Refrigeration, natural gas, plumbing and other process-related systems. Ammonia Refrigeration systems to include Condensers, Compressors, Evaporators, Piping/Insulation, Power and Controls.
