What You Will Do:
Lead design across key brand moments: product launches, campaigns, events, internal initiatives, and moments we haven't defined yet
Design across mediums: web, motion, 3D, social, print, swag, environments, whatever format moves the story forward
Build and evolve our brand system so it scales without getting stale. This includes tools, templates, guidelines, and the thinking behind them
Prototype with AI and emerging tools to improve speed, quality, and creative range
Collaborate with engineers, marketers, product designers, and leadership to align on strategy and ship cohesive work
Bring creative concepts to life through motion, 3D, illustration, and environmental design (bonus if you can do it all, but knowing how to direct and collaborate is key).
Manage timelines and feedback loops to keep projects moving and quality high
Give and receive thoughtful critique, and help maintain a high bar across the team

About You:
5+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design, ideally in SaaS, developer tools, or high-growth tech.
A portfolio that shows strong visual taste, system thinking, and the ability to execute at a high level across mediums
Comfortable working in fast-paced environments where ambiguity is normal and things change often
You've used AI tools in your creative process, whether for production, prototyping, or experimentation
Deep understanding of layout, typography, motion, and visual storytelling

Compensation & Location
Our cash compensation range for this role is $172,000/yr to $215,000/yr in Denver & most remote locations, and $202,000/yr to $253,000/yr in San Francisco, Seattle & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Job Description
Vuori is seeking a Designer to join our Women's Outerwear team, helping shape one of the most creative and technically exciting categories in our collection. This role drives the full design process from concept and research to tech pack creation, BOM development, fabric and trim selection, fittings, and final product refinement. Each season, you'll design a range of outerwear styles, from lightweight transitional layers to fully weatherproof performance pieces, all rooted in Vuori's modern, coastal-inspired aesthetic.
We're looking for a curious, hands-on designer passionate about performance apparel and approaches collaboration without ego. You'll work closely with Merchandising, Product Development, Materials, Technical Design, and Sourcing to bring innovative ideas to life while ensuring every piece meets our standards for quality, comfort, and versatility. A keen eye for detail, a love of learning, and the creativity to deliver fresh, inspired ideas are essential for success in this role.
What you'll get to do:
Help lead the design and development of Vuori's Women's Outerwear line-from concept to final product. Create performance and lifestyle layers that combine innovation, functionality, and Vuori's signature coastal-inspired style.
Design a full range of women's outerwear: jackets, insulated layers, snow styles, and related pieces.
Partner with the Senior Designer and design team to build seasonal stories rooted in trend, market, and brand insights.
Research global trends in color, materials, and outerwear innovation across outdoor, sport, and fashion markets.
Create technical sketches and detailed Illustrator drawings; support designs with prototypes or 3D mockups.
Select fabrics and trims that enhance performance, comfort, and brand alignment.
Apply seasonal colors and graphics thoughtfully across the assortment.
Present design concepts to cross-functional partners, clearly communicating inspiration and intent.
Build accurate tech packs with all necessary construction and material details.
Collaborate with Product Development and Technical Design through sampling, fittings, and finalization.
Understand outerwear construction, including seam-sealing, insulation, functional features, and ergonomic design.
Present prototypes and updates at key milestone meetings.
Adjust seasonal assortments based on feedback and commercial goals.
Work with Merchandising on pricing, forecasting, and line architecture.
Uphold Vuori's design standards for quality and aesthetic consistency.
Mentor junior designers and contribute to a positive, high-performing team culture.
Qualifications
Who you are:
A bachelor's degree in design (BA, BFA, or BS) or equivalent years of experience preferred.
5+ years of industry experience in women's outerwear with a portfolio that highlights both technical execution and aesthetic leadership.
Deep understanding of garment construction, patterning, fit, and functional performance specific to outerwear.
Proven ability to take designs from concept through production, including BOMs, fit comments, and vendor communication.
Expertise in Adobe Illustrator; proficiency in Photoshop, Indesign, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaborative tools like Teams and Figma.
Familiarity with outerwear-specific materials and trims (e.g., 3-layer shells, mechanical stretch fabrics, waterproof zippers, insulated liners).
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a multi-track calendar and high expectations for quality and detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
Self-directed, adaptable, and passionate about delivering best-in-class product.

Primary Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
· Create 2D and 3D CAD models of aircraft metal bonded and composite structures.
· Use Solidworks and/or CATIA to create CAD drawings and models of detail parts, assemblies, and tooling derived from customer provided MBD data sets, 2D drawings, specifications, loft data, and contract requirements.
· Support Engineering personnel with creating manufacturing instructions, build plans, and tooling designs.
· Support laser tracker operator by creating CAD surface files used for part and tool inspection.
· Provide Purchasing department with CAD drawings and models needed for outsourced services.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Computer Skills:
Proficient in Windows and MS Office; Word and Excel. Proficiency with Solidworks, vector and rastor image editing software, and CAM software.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
