The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of civilengineering projects, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and lead aspects of civilengineering design for site development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and stormwater management systems.

What you bring to the role:

The CivilEngineering Intern, under the direction of Civil/Structural Engineering Manager, is primarily responsible for aiding the Civil Design team in the development, analysis and design of civil systems.
Other responsibilities include:
Prepare civilengineering design documents including calculations, analysis and design reports, design memoranda, engineering drawings
Prepare SAP2000 models of steel and concrete structures
Assist with engineering evaluations related to seismic, extreme wind, and other natural phenomena hazards
Assist in the development or verification of analytical models involving seismic loads, soil profiles, and boundary conditions
Assist with quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and constructability assessments
Support preparation of design packages and project deliverables in accordance with organizational standards and applicable codes
Perform literature reviews and data gathering to support engineering analyses.
Participate in design review meetings, document meeting minutes, and track action items
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, structural, geotechnical, and project controls groups
Assist in maintaining project files, design records, and document control processes
Conduct presentations to interdisciplinary teams and external parties

Crusoe is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Engineer to join our growing Project Execution team. This role will focus specifically on the power generation aspects of our large-scale data center projects, encompassing electrical, communication, controls, and mechanical systems. You will play a critical role throughout the lifecycle of the project, supporting engineering execution, construction, completions, commissioning, and turnover.
This position requires a fundamental knowledge of power generation technologies as well as a strong understanding of construction execution, mechanical or electrical engineering principles, and project management methodologies.

What you'll be working on:
Support the Project Execution team in the execution of power generation projects, from design to turnover to Operations.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineering firms, contractors, and vendors, to ensure project success.
Review contractor/vendor submittals, RFIs, procedures, and other project documentation.
Support the Project/Construction Manager in monitoring budgets and schedules to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Track construction progress against milestones and monitor change orders.
Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to maintain schedule and quality.
Monitor contractor workmanship and adherence to specifications.
Support commissioning and testing of plant systems to ensure performance and compliance.
Review commissioning documents for technical and practical acceptance.
Evaluate lift plans, flush plans, purge plans, and other construction execution planning documents for safety and compliance.
Coordinate the issuance and response of RFIs and Field Engineering Directives (FEDs).
Contribute to the development of engineering, construction, and commissioning standards and procedures.
Stay current on technologies and best practices in power generation and construction management.
Promote and ensure a safe, collaborative work environment.
What you'll bring to the team:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
3+ years of experience in power generation, hydrocarbon, or similar engineering, preferably on large-scale projects.
EIT or PE preferred.
Understanding of power generation technologies including turbine, diesel, and natural gas generators, as well as renewable energy sources.
Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI).
Strong project management skills (budgets, schedules, resources).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
Experience with site supervision and construction management.
Data center power/mechanical systems experience is a plus.

Job DescriptionDescription:
The Assistant Project Engineer (APE) supports the Project Engineer in coordinating and managing engineering services to design and develop solar PV projects.
Requirements:
Tracks and drives progress of engineering deliverables based on project schedule milestones & deadlines.
Assist with coordinating & facilitating multidisciplinary design reviews at 30%, 90%, and IFC design stages.
Assist the project engineer with the generation, issuance, resolution, and close-out of requests for information, technical enquiry forms, and submittals.
Ensure that all superseded drawings, specifications, and other construction documents are marked as such, removed from the active construction and replaced with current versions.
Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other departments within the company.
Liaise with client, engineering teams, subcontractors, and vendors in the direction of the Project Engineer.
Coordinate engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the project (Pre-Construction, Active Construction, and Commissioning)
Implement and maintain redline process generation of As Built design. Ensure that field redline drawings of all construction work are maintained.
Works with project teams to implement and maintain engineering processes including but not limited to, design reviews, document control, RFI/Submittal reviews, etc.
Consult with electrical and civilengineering staff on project layouts.
Assist with other duties assigned to provide professional and technical support on multiple projects.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in electrical or civilengineering from an ABET accredited program.
Engineering experience performing development of solar projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Demonstrated experience managing outside engineering firms.
Proficiency with reading blueprints, plans, specs, contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
An interest in renewable energy development and design.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software.
Preferred experience
PMP certification
NCEES Council Record
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills, including the ability to communicate in a positive manner with project managers, other engineering/design team members, management and installation contractors to foster an environment of superior coordination.
Good problem solving and critical thinking abilities and a proactive work ethic. Must take accountability of own body of work, closing each project by design completion efficiently, while maintaining accuracy and strict attention to detail.
Strong ability to apply innovative and creative skills to problem solving.

Job Description
The position entails planning and design for municipal stormwater projects, including preparation of construction documents, calculations, reports, and other supporting documents for design plans.
Responsibilities:
This position includes creating construction cost estimates, developing traffic control plans, preparing erosion control plans, and meeting with supporting personnel such as client staff, utility representatives, surveyors, real estate agents, structural and geotechnical engineers, and others.
The candidate will meet with individual property owners to effectively communicate project specific information related to the project scope. This information may include, but not be limited to, how project needs may impact the property, traffic, road closures, utilities, need for easements.
The candidate will also attend site meetings with other engineers, client staff, contractors, and others to provide project updates, schedule considerations, address conflicts, acquire project information, and other necessary communication.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in CivilEngineering or CivilEngineering Technology
EI or EIT Required
2+ years of transferrable design experience.

The Sr. CivilEngineer provides engineering support throughout the proposal, design and construction phase of projects. This includes review of available survey project development and topographic information, preparation of preliminary layouts, permitting support, environmental and hydrologic studies, site layout, value engineering, and construction documentation. Layouts to be performed in AutoCAD. Establish Civilengineering basis of design including site improvements, grading, access requirements permit and ordinance requirements. Manage the Civil Design Team to ensure due diligence and requirements are completed to facilitate project completion.
Job Responsibilities
Functions as a lead role in overseeing the technical execution of projects.
Develops and applies advanced engineering techniques, concepts, and approaches to complex engineering problems
Managing of internal engineering resources in the execution of planning, design, and quality assurance of solar PV
Manage training to ensure design standards are aligned with best engineering practices
Assist in establishing and documenting standard design procedures within the Civilengineering team.
Collaborate and coordinate with project development, procurement, project management, construction, and O&M teams
Provides technical guidance to engineers

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Registration as an Engineer in training and following a pathway towards professional registration is recommended
