The Senior Planner is responsible for providing comprehensive project planning support through the engineering, procurement, construction and testing/commissioning phases, using standard planning techniques. The Senior Layout Designer will provide engineering deliverables and technical support. This Produce detailed engineering deliverables for heavy industrial related projects. Prepare contract engineering drawings and record keeping. Liaise with external and internal customers to ensure quality and timely outcomes. Essential Skills and Qualifications: As a successful candidate, you will: Previous professional experience must include heavy industrial plant layout and process and utility piping system routing. Familiarity with ASME piping codes is expected. Extensive experience with 2D and 3D CAD software is required (strict adherence to Hatch and Client drafting standards will be expected). Experience with data-centric or BIM systems is preferred. Sound design and modeling skills for plant layout, piping design and detailing Thorough knowledge of piping components and materials Sound knowledge of industry or regulatory standards and codes as required for piping design Experience with isometric production control and monitoring Experience with multidisciplinary coordination Sound knowledge of design systems and workflows as they relate to the piping discipline Thorough understanding of PFDs and P&IDs You bring to the role: Diploma or equivalent in engineering design or drafting. 10+ years of experience in either mechanical or piping design. Experience in both is preferred. Ability to motivate individuals to attain quality, cost and schedule objectives Strong deliverable focus, ability to plan the work A high degree of understanding of inter-discipline dependencies related to the discipline Well-developed communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Site experience in a technical role is preferred. The Site Contract Administration Manager is involved in a project from the post award phase up to closeout and handover of the FEL4 phase and interfaces with project management, engineering, construction management and contractors during construction phase. The Site Contracts Administration Manager manages a team of site contract administrators, quantity surveyors and administrative support staff focused on the management of construction, services and material/equipment supply and installation contracts during the execution of EPCM projects and has vital responsibilities in carrying a project to an on-time, on-budget completion. The Site Contract Administration Manager will be required to work onsite for extended periods of time in various project locations including Oklahoma, California, Nevada, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Alabama, or Minnesota. As the successful candidate, you will: Managing the site contracts administration team towards the following objectives and deliverables: * Contractual change control. * Management of contractual processes within the appropriate Hatch core system. * Program monitoring and progress meetings. * Payment certification. * Claims administration. * Develop, process and implement contractual documents and change notices in a timely manner. * Administrate contracts in accordance with general requirements of contractual terms and conditions. * Maintain various contract registers and as per project specific instructions. * Proactive management and reporting of forecasted final costs and cash flow on contracts. * Management of bonds/guarantees. * Closeout and handover to the client. * Reporting as required. Essential Skills and Experience: * Extensive experience in an EPCM project environment on capital projects, specifically in the management of construction and services contracts. * Contracts/legal related training and general project and management related training. * Experience with the drafting of commercial terms and conditions and an understanding of accompanying legal implications. * Negotiation skills and assertiveness. * Excellent understanding of procurement processes, contract management and corporate governance principles. * Knowledge and a working history and understanding of the local environment and contractors. * Experience with an excellent understanding of contracting strategies. * Proven managerial and leadership skills. * Proven experience with and knowledge of contractor management. * Excellent knowledge of contract change management including schedule change management. * Experience with dispute resolution and dispute resolution mechanisms. * Prior site-based experience in the administration of construction contracts. * Ability to fit into a team environment and personal skills to compliment teamwork development.
