Phlebotomist
About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
ยท You will greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
ยท You will perform venipuncture of donors and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
ยท You will monitor donors during the donation process and manage donor reactions.
ยท You will perform all tasks required for the setup, verification, operation, and troubleshooting of plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
ยท You will install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines
ยท You will stock supplies, break down empty cartons and assist with proper disposal.
ยท You will take and record donor pulse, blood pressure, and temperature measures and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system.
ยท You will perform finger sticks, test sample, and record other donor measures to include hematocrit, total protein, and weight.
ยท You will enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
ยท You will coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system.

Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9 $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Locality pay varies by duty location.
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Grade level eligibility and salaries vary depending upon background, including experience and education, and duty location of the opportunity. This is a career ladder position with a grade level progression of GS-5, GS-7, GS-9, GS-11, and GS-12. You will be eligible for a promotion to the next higher grade level (without re-applying) once you successfully complete 52 weeks in each grade level. Promotions are at the discretion of the agency.

Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
Enforcing the laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping to and from the United States.
Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats and perform risk assessments for violations of laws and threats to national security.
Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity for the purposes of gaining information from suspected violators of laws to determine the appropriate course of action.
The above experience will be applied in connection with the following: Ability to make rapid, accurate judgments and decisions with respect to the application of the regulations, instructions, and procedures for importing and exporting merchandise to and from the United States; or enforcement and administration of laws relating to the right of persons to enter, reside in or depart from the United States, Guam, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree, or two or more years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of specialized experience AND successfully completed graduate-level education. This will be calculated using your resume and official or unofficial transcripts submitted with your application.
Other Requirements:
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen to apply for this position.
Residency: You must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.
Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law 100-238, this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions. Candidates must be referred for selection to the Customs and Border Protection Officer position before reaching their 40th birthday in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Directive 251-03. The age restriction may not apply if you are currently serving or have previously served in a federal civilian law enforcement (non-military) position covered by Title 5 U.S.C. 8336(c) or Title 5 U.S.C. 8412(d).
Veterans' Preference: You may also be eligible for an excepted service Veterans Recruitment Appointment (VRA). The age restriction does not apply if you are Veterans' Preference eligible.
Formal Training: You will be required to complete a paid pre-academy orientation for approximately two (2) weeks at your home port. You will then attend a 101-day training program - CBP Field Operations Academy - conducted at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) located in Glynco, GA. This training consists of basic law enforcement skills, immigration laws, firearms training, examination of cargo/bags/merchandise, physical fitness, etc. Candidates assigned to the southern border, Miami, or Puerto Rico duty locations must attend and pass an online Spanish training program, which will be completed at their home port. Successful completion of the Academy is required for this position.

As a New Home Project Manager, You Will:
Collaborate with the New Home Senior Project Manager in preparing and obtaining home site surveys.

Assist communities in managing the receipt of new homes, the setup of new homes, and vendor setup.

Kocourek Detail Center detail technician's are responsible for washing exterior and cleaning interior of the vehicle to make the guest satisfaction exceed expectations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior windows and wipes down door jams.
Applies wax to auto body, and wipes or buffs surface.
Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
Cleans upholstery, rugs and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
Applies revitalizers and preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals

Employees will perform varied manual labor work in the Marathon County ice arenas and City of Wausau parks. Employees usually work 15-30 hours per week. Most positions will be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is filling positions in October with the season ending in March.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 18 years of age or older and possess a driver's license and a good driving record.
Experience performing facility cleaning and grounds maintenance work desirable.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to perform varied maintenance tasks.
Ability to keep daily work logs, vehicle maintenance requests, etc.

Seasonal laborers may be assigned to various facilities based on the needs of the department.
May perform a variety of manual work including cleaning facilities and grounds.
Assist the public in a friendly and professional manner.
Open and close facilities according to established policies.
May work independently or under the guidance of full-time employees in cleaning, repair, and maintenance work.
May set up facilities for special events or rental groups.
May operate power equipment of various sizes in City and County parks and facilities.
May use cleaning agents and other chemicals in performing tasks.
Performs other related work as required.

COMPENSATION:
Starting hourly rate for seasonal laborers is $14.00 year one, $14.50 year two, and $15.00 year three.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, schedule, and coach a team of 8-10 team members.
Create a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous learning.
Partner with HR to support hiring and employee development initiatives.
Store Operations
Ensure the store is clean, safe, and visually appealing at all times.
Maintain accurate inventory, reduce shrink, and monitor backroom activities.
Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, EEOC, DOL, etc.).
Customer Experience

What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 1 year of retail management experience (convenience or fuel store experience a plus).
Strong leadership skills with a focus on employee engagement and development.
Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Comfortable managing cash handling, fuel sales, and promotions.
Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written.
Computer and point-of-sale system proficiency.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
