The Sr. Controls Engineer is responsible for creating electrical, pneumatic, and software designs for automated assembly and testing equipment that meet the objectives of the concept and mechanical design specifications. This position requires a minimum of 7 - 10 years' experience with 4 years' robotic experience. This position is 100% onsite and based in our Belvidere, IL facility. What You Will Do: • Plans and performs a variety of duties requiring knowledge and skill with equipment including: Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), HMI control, instrumentation, sensors, variable frequency drives, stepper/servo drives, motor control circuits, power distribution systems up to 600 VAC. • Creates clear and functional electrical, pneumatic and software designs that will meet the concept requirements and the quality, cost, and delivery needs of the end customer. • Interfaces with Concept Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineering, Build Dept. and the Project Manager to support the engineering design and part delivery. • Review project hardware and software for compliance with applicable codes/standards and assure personnel/machinery safety practices are fully implemented. • Completes documentation that is required to efficiently communicate designs for external and internal use through the use of detail drawings, schematics, programming, bills of materials and associated texts. This role is responsible for final assembly, testing/debugging, field installation and service of custom automation machinery. You will also participate in customer product testing, demonstrations, technician education, and final quality control inspection of machinery prior to shipment. CNC Machinist - 2nd shift We are searching for a 2nd shift CNC Machinist with a minimum of 3 years' experience preferably operating Mazak CNC machines. The 2nd shift CNC Machinist will set-up and operate MAZAK CNC machines to produce parts according to blueprints, specifications and manufacturing orders.
