In this role, you will assist with recruiting, team member communications, and administering other HR functions at the Eastern Distribution Center located in Braselton, GA. SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Key point of contact for People Services and General Manager on DC staffing needs
Daily and weekly review of each department's staffing requirements to develop staffing solutions
Post open positions and execute recruiting strategies to achieve required staffing levels
Identifies, screens and refers top talent to hiring managers
Works closely with hiring managers on interviews and selection process
Complete post-hire process to include administering drug screen, initiating background checks and scheduling physical assessments
Manage onboarding process
Manages candidate activity in Success Factors
Maintains records and provides daily statistics on recruiting activities
Assist with all employee transfers, salary changes, terminations, etc.
Assist with human resource functions, including payroll, uniform management, employee relations, employee files and policy management
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related projects as needed
Maintain confidentiality of associate records by not discussing any information outside of the Human Resources department and by ensuring the work area is secure when unattended
Support all special activities, events, lunches, etc. to include organizing and preparing food and prep, preparing flyers, offer creative ideas for various campaigns, exceptions lunches, Annual Open Enrollment, monthly events, etc.

Your Days Will Consist Of

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

3-5 Years of Experience/knowledge in construction management, construction cost estimating, and construction scheduling in the retail construction industry, preferred.
Ability to work in construction Cloud Based Management Software (Kahua/ProjectMates/Procore), preferred. experience with construction payment application process, audits, reviews, or assessments of construction risk areas: change orders, general conditions, material costs, labor costs, equipment costs, and bid processes.
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of project controls principles relating to budgeting, scheduling, tracking of actual/committed costs, forecasting.

Ensures that the Contractor/Vendor has fulfilled their contractual obligations and FND has received appropriate documentation for project closeout.
Leads desk audits of change orders (change directives, Engineering change notices, field change requests) to assess accuracy and reasonableness. Additionally, review non-competitive bids to ensure that costs are also reasonable.
Verifies that the work in a change order is not already within the scope of the original contract and verifies that the work was necessary and conforms to the drawing, design, and unit costs in case of unit price contract.
Reviews change orders for accuracy of contractors' prices, labor rates, construction quantities, and calculations.
Coordinate with the legal department to clear any project liens.
Work directly with general contractors to ensure all contractor and subcontractor waivers are correct before processing payment applications.
Leads construction cost testing including reconciliation of payment applications, invoices, purchase orders, and construction control documents.
Provide coding for invoices received outside of construction PMIS.
Analyzes review of contractor labor billing rates, equipment billing rates and billing methods.
Identifies cost savings, operational, and business process improvements.
Provides feedback to internal and external auditors on audit performance as necessary
Monitor and forecast cash flow projections for projects under construction

Team Selling:

The Design Lead is expected to assist the sales team with achieving daily/monthly store GOAL.

Your Role
As a Support Associate, you will assist with stocking, receiving, order fulfillment, and merchandise handling functions, including maintaining merchandise organization. You will perform operational, daily tasks to support store sales, profitability and enhance the customer experience. You report to the RPSO Manager and work in a Neiman Marcus store location.
What You'll Do
Complete daily store operations and support the direction of leads and managers including:
Merchandise handling, transfers, and processing of inbound / outbound freight
Fulfillment, packing and shipping of online and store customer orders
Complete necessary merchandise placements to ensure merchandise standards are followed
Merchandise price changes and reticketing; signs and moves product once marked
Reticketing, damages, mark out of stocks and related inventory control processes
Responsible for back stocking, stockroom organization and maintenance
Under the guidance and direction of Managers and Visual, merchandises product and sets sale events and signage, while ensuring standards are followed.
Support with set-up and take down of in-store events and activations
Follow all safety procedures on the dock and in all other work areas

Your Role
The Sales Manager is responsible for the sales experience of a Neiman Marcus store department(s), facilitating partnerships across departments, driving team towards goals, and using team skills to build a customer-oriented sales experience, all while being a steward of Neiman Marcus.
