The Ambulatory Surgery department provides a wide array of surgical procedures and care in an outpatient setting. Patients requiring attention for medical conditions that can be treated without overnight admission to a hospital are attended to by our team of general and specialized surgery professionals. We provide state-of-the-art technology within a comfortable setting and health care staff who are skilled, knowledgeable and sensitive to patient needs.
As the RegisteredNurse for the Ambulatory Surgery unit you would have the opportunity to support physician staff within this high-intensity unit, where you would provide quality nursing care to patients in accordance with accepted standards and hospital policy, and coordinate care planning with other disciplines. Our Perioperative Services department provides full support throughout the duration of a patient's surgical procedure, spanning ward admission, anesthesia, surgery and recovery.
