Founded in 1938, Wilcox Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical center dedicated to providing the Kaua'i community with accessible quality health care. Its 18-bed emergency department serves as the island's Primary Stroke Center. The medical center also has four birthing suites, seven intensive care beds and 20 same-day surgery beds. Wilcox is the first American College of Surgeons-verified Level III Trauma Center in the state of Hawai'i. Wilcox is part of Hawai'i Pacific Health, one of the state's leading health care systems and a not-for-profit health care organization with medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers working together to create a healthier Hawai'i.
Rehabilitation Services provides physical and occupational therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients across the full continuum of care. Our trained experts specialize in a variety of innovative programs for people with physical and cognitive disabilities and injuries, including conditions such as brain injury, stroke, spinal cord disorders, orthopedic injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation, multiple sclerosis, amputations, arthritis, Parkinson's disease and chronic pain.
As the SpeechLanguagePathologist, you have the opportunity to bring the gift of speech and rehabilitative speech therapy to patients suffering communicational challenges. Specifically, you will provide speech-language services and consolation for inpatients and outpatients as medical center locations and contract sites. We are looking for a compassionate individual who will provide excellent patient care and communication skills and is committed to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

* Provide remote speech-language therapy services to clients
* Conduct online speech-language assessments to determine eligibility for speech services
* Develop, coordinate, implement, and monitor an individual's plan of care via teletherapy

Qualifications
* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
* Active NV State SpeechLanguagePathologist License or able to obtain a NV license

Job Description: Summary:This position is responsible for the provision of family-centered culturally competent services for children and their families, birth to eight with typical development and developmental delays. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Use a Primary Service Provider Approach and Coaching when working with families and children.
Knowledge of and experience with providing evidence-based practices in early childhood development including multi and trans-disciplinary service coordination across areas of expertise, assessment and service planning, diagnosis of specific therapeutic interventions, identification of adjunct service needs and the ability to effectively collaborate with others to assure access to interventions and services.
