Responsibilities:
MV Transportation is seeking an "A" Level Lead Mechanic/Technician who will perform preventive maintenance inspections on various types of vehicles. He/she will manage a fleet of 56 vehicles, assign work to other Technicians, purchase parts, and process paperwork. The position requires the Technician, must be able to teach, to diagnose, inspect, and change or repair defective coach components, sub-components, and systems on vehicles as time permits, more complex repair techniques. The A Lead Technician must possess a CDL license with airbrakes and a passenger endorsement, a 609 and 608 air conditioning certifications and at least H or T series ASE certifications. This position will report to the General Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Assign, monitor, and review daily work orders to ensure timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled repairs.
Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, HVAC, CNG systems, and other major vehicle components.
Lead, coach, and train mechanics of all levels (A/B/C) to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
Support the Maintenance Manager in planning preventive maintenance schedules and tracking vehicle availability.
Inspect and sign off on completed repairs to ensure adherence to company, city, and CHP standards.
Maintain communication between maintenance, dispatch, and operations to minimize vehicle downtime.
Assist with warranty claims, vendor coordination, and parts inventory oversight.
Promote safety awareness by enforcing PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and general shop safety compliance.
Conduct or assist in root cause analysis of repeat defects, road calls, and failed inspections.
Support preparation of vehicles for CHP, TRC, and City audits.
Serve as acting supervisor in the absence of the Maintenance Manager.
Coordinate between mechanics and utility personnel to ensure vehicle readiness and smooth daily yard operations.
Qualifications:
Talent Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Effectively use and operate the tools and equipment required for the repair and maintenance of large vehicles.
Understand the theory, operation, and repair of diesel and CNG powered vehicles, including engines, transmissions, ignitions, and electrical hydraulic/pneumatic cooling, heating, and brake systems.
Learn and follow industrial and shop safety rules.
Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Learn and effectively use personal computers and the company's software programs for inventory and parts.
Read maps and locate road-called vehicles.
Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Work independently under continual training and close supervision.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work using principles of good customer service.
Combination of at least one (1) to two (2) years of journeyman level verifiable training and experience in automotive or diesel mechanics, which may include high school mechanics courses and/or a regional occupational program.
Additional Requirements:
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug testing.
Have taken basic automotive or heavy duty repair courses or have good understanding of basic automotive/heavy duty systems.
Have journeyman level tools.
Must be a least 23 years of age.
Must possess, or obtain and maintain a valid Class A or B Commercial Driver License with Air Brake and Passenger Endorsements, and a medical certificate by date of appointment.
Work well with others.
Must be able to work a varied schedule.
Willing to learn.

We're hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our King Air B200, B300 and Lear 45 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.
Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.

Diesel Mechanic Position Summary:
This position is required to safely and accurately perform general property and vehicle maintenance & repair duties in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and understanding basic preventative maintenance and repair techniques of Class 5 through Class 8 commercial vehicles to include tank trailer inspection and maintenance related to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations is required.
Diesel Mechanic Essential Functions:
All fleet mechanic positions will be required to perform vehicle maintenance & repair duties safely and accurately in and around the shop operations in a fast-paced environment.
Fleet Mechanic Apprentices will receive hands on training and instruction on preventive maintenance/inspections/repairs of Class 5 through Class 8 Commercial Vehicles and maintenance/inspection of tank trailers.
Fleet Mechanic Levels I & II will learn and become proficient utilizing the company's maintenance software program to create and complete work orders and maintain work order/vehicle maintenance records. They will also train/assist other technicians in performing preventive/repair of facilities and equipment to include trucks, tractors, and trailers.
Fleet Mechanic Level III will build on the duties from Diesel Mechanic I/II and become qualified as necessary with appropriate certifications to perform new technology evaluations, diagnosis, and repairs.
HM183 will build on the duties of a Level III Diesel Mechanic, Certified as a (DOT) commercial motor vehicle inspector in compliance with FMCSR's
Has been signing test forms as the Registered Inspector for at least 3 years.

As an Aircraft Structures Mechanic you will work within a final assembly/fabrication environment by drawing on knowledge acquired from training and certification classes to complete your daily assigned work. By interpreting drawings and reading/comprehending work instructions you will be responsible for identifying your work (task) location on the airplane/part/tooling and identifying all required hand tools, parts and equipment to accomplish defect-free work.
Job duties included but are not limited to:
Use a computer in a production environment.
Look up/read/comprehend technical work instructions, drawings and/or specifications
Assemble and install to structural components and sub-assemblies to join larger assemblies. Components may be metal or composites or a combination.
Use locating points found by utilizing station lines and index points and without jigs, fixtures or tooling, as required.
Appropriate protective clothing/equipment determined by the task you are performing.
Operate mechanical lifts of various types (e.g., scissors lifts and snorkel lifts), to locate parts/assemblies into position or to perform assembly work.
Use drills and high impact vibratory tools (bucking, riveting), in addition to screwdrivers, huck pullers, lock bolt puller, power screwdriver, C-squeeze, ratchet wrench, nut runner, torque wrenches, crimpers and cable tools.
Chemical solvents, sealants, coatings, primers, adhesives, paints and special finishes.
Once your work is completed per testing requirement, you'll inspect your work for quality and check for FOD (Foreign Object Debris).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
General
Has intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area.
Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of aircraft.
Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data
Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.
Complete on-the-job-training (OJT) forms and required reading.
Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement or modification.
Conduct operational tests.
The following duties will apply based on the area to which the employee is assigned:
Airframe Cabin Interiors:
Remove/reinstall interior linings, cargo bay liners, floor panels
Remove/reinstall lavatories, galleys, seats, windscreens
Remove/reinstall/adjust doors
Use of basic hand tools (i.e. sockets, wrenches, ratchets, screw drivers, pliers, etc.)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Airframe and/or Power Plant License preferred.
Level of skill customarily acquired after completing ATS apprenticeship program or two years or more related commercial/military aircraft experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:

Compensation
The base salary for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/DOE (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus. If you are hired at ATS, your final base hourly rate will be based on factors such as skills, education and/or experience. In addition to those factors - we consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range noted above is the full base hourly range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.

The Position
Hillsboro Aviation's Contract & Charter division provides services to the United States Forest Service (USFS), the Department of Interior (DOI), FEMA, Department of Defense (DOD), large national utility (powerline & infrastructure), and high-tech companies as well as smaller companies and individuals. Our missions include search and rescue, short haul (human external cargo, natural disaster relief, construction support, aerial firefighting, natural resource surveys, film/photo/news, and heli-skiing. Our fleet is comprised of Airbus H145D3, Bell 205A-1++, Bell 407, Bell 407HP, and Airbus AS350B3e.
As a Fleet Aircraft Mechanic, you will work closely with the Fleet Maintenance team to maintain helicopters on Hillsboro Aviation's fleet. You will report to the Director of Maintenance and will be responsible for the following, including but not limited to:
Inspection and repair of helicopter and components according to the highest standards of the FAR's, manufacturer's programs, Hillsboro Aviation's s AAIP, and repair station guidelines
USFS/DOI contract coverage as field mechanic
Ability to use computer databases and software programs to track ongoing maintenance.

At least 18 months out of the last 24 months must have been actively engaged in helicopter maintenance
At least 12 months experience as an A&P mechanic maintaining helicopters
At least 12 months experience maintaining one of the aircraft listed above.
At least 6 months experience as an A&P within the past 2 years
At least 1 full season of experience under “field” conditions within the previous 10 years
At least 3 months experience maintaining a helicopter away from an operator's principal hanbase of operations

**Role Summary**
The Aircraft Technician is responsible for the repair and maintenance of aircraft for the Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) division of Horizon Air (QX). As a member of the M&E division, this individual contributor role performs all functions in the repair and maintenance of aircraft, which includes dismantling, repairing, assembly, and construction of machinery and mechanical devices. This is a union represented position.
**Key Duties**
+ Repair and perform maintenance on aircraft including dismantling, repairing, assembly, and construction of machinery and mechanical devices.
+ Perform all work in a prompt and timely manner, adhering to all attendance reliability policies and procedures.
+ Exercise the authority of the FAA Certified Airman License (all genders) - Airframe and/or Powerplant License- in signing the corrective action in maintenance documents or aircraft maintenance log for airworthiness release or return to service, ensuring such is in accordance with Horizon Air policies and procedures.
+ Act as flightdeck coordinator, when assigned, to ensure safe operation of aircraft systems (e.g., flight controls, electrical, landing gear) from the flight deck.
+ Ensure that a clean, safe, and orderly work area is maintained at all times.
**Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills**
**Required**
+ Valid Airframe (A) license.
+ Valid Powerplant (P) license or the ability to obtain within 6 months of start date.
+ Strong knowledge of aircraft systems and the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve technical issues.
+ Knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations and company procedures.
+ Possess an adequate complement of tools.
+ Meet the recent experience requirements of 14 CFR 65.83 (i.e., six months experience in the last 24 months).
+ Valid passport allowing unrestricted travel, without a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP), to and from the U.S. within 30 days of job acceptance.
+ Able and willing to enter and exit Canada without restrictions and without requiring a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) in order to complete maintenance work.

+ Ability and willingness to operate various types of ground support equipment, including movable turboways, forklifts, tow tractors, elevated boom lifts, and hoists.
+ Ability and willingness to work on elevated surfaces by utilizing stands, climbing ladders or other suitable equipment to access aircraft surfaces at elevation.
