We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a client office. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.

**Work Schedule:**
**Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm with 1-hr lunch break**
**Friday 7:30am-12:00pm with 30 minutes lunch**

**Job Responsibilities:**
+ Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
+ Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
+ Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
+ Process billing information and collect payments when required.
+ Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
+ Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
+ Provide superior customer service to all patients.
+ Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
+ Assembling equipment such as: tourniquet, needles, disposable containers for needles, blood collection devices, gauze, cotton, and alcohol on work tray, according to requirements for specified tests or procedures,
+ Performing other responsibilities as required, Work with and draw from a wide range patient cases in a confident manner,
+ Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations,
+ Verifying or recording identity of patient or donor and converses with patient or donor.
+ Maintaining Refrigerator and Freezer temperatures.
+ Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment,
+ Comply with legal Phlebotomy regulations, Handle urine analysis, blood testing, Perform a variety of routine blood drawing procedures.
+ Travel to additional sites when needed.
**Job Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency or previous experience as a phlebotomist is required
+ Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
+ Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment
+ Comfortable working under minimal supervision
+ Reliable transportation required
+ Flexibility to work overtime as needed
+ Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs tasks related to food safety and sanitation, meal production, storage, meal service, and food quality. Follows all written and verbal instructions as set forth by the School Nutrition Manager or designee.
Follows all federal, state, and local policies and procedures related to the School Nutrition Program. Displays a positive attitude, spreads enthusiasm, and enjoys serving people.
Performs any other additional duties as assigned.

Reasoning Ability: Must have ability to facilitate the problem solving process, synthesize workable options from given facts, and assist in the development of a workable solution to address concerns.

Work Environment:
The noise level is high, the temperature ranges from -20 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and the humidity level ranges from moderate to very humid. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold, and extreme heat. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electric shock.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, and lift on hard concrete or tile surfaces. The employee must be able to exert or lift up to 50 pounds.
