ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Supports construction technology products, including Product Link, VisionLink, Cat App, Cat Inspect, machine control and guidance, and other technology applications and solutions for customer and equipment management. Installs and troubleshoots Product Link devices on construction equipment and engines/generators. Works in relevant software applications to add or update customer and equipment data. First line of communication on all yard traffic policies and adherence to speed limits. Assists branch manager with communicating to customers all Hawthorne safety practices and requirements. Assists walk in and will call customers with rental needs such as unloading and unhitching equipment. Will need to be able to operate all rental and yard equipment safely throughout the yard as needed. Determines equipment condition upon return and reports any damage or repair work necessary. Works Hand-In-Hand with Shop Supervisor to coordinate Service schedules on Long Term rentals. Assists in Inventory Coordination.
