. Position is responsible for assisting with the day to day operations of the Service Department employees with implementing processes to maximize customer experience and minimize expenses. Required skills include organization and exellent communication, ability to motivate people, working knowledge of standard job pricing and commission base compensation plans, basic accounting and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. General knowledge of agriculture terms and mechanical experience preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in John Deere Service Department operations is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Assist with Service Operations
WORKS CLOSELY WITH: Service Manager/Technicians/Service Coordinators
Assist with supervising day to day Service employees and operations to maximize return on investment through growing customer labor sales, implementing processes to maximize customer experience and minimize expenses.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (listed in order of importance):
Daily processing of work orders.
Assist supervising service department personnel.
Maintain Service Dept. processes to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and departmental profitability.
Monitor MST usage for accuracy.
Assist with maintaining the appearance and maintenance of all Service Dept. assets.
Monitor Technician performance and production to ensure they obtain their monthly goals.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in John Deere Service Department operations.
SPECIAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Organized and excellent communication skills.
Ability to motivate individuals as well as a group.
Working knowledge of Standard Job Pricing and Commission base compensation.
Basic understanding of financial principles related to overall Service Department Operations.
Basic accounting skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, etc.
You must be able to lift 50lbs regularly, extensive hours on a computer.
