We are seeking a proactive and creative Communications genius to join our team and support our Sr. Director of Communications in developing and implementing communication strategies that build trust, promote transparency and enhance employee engagement. You'll be instrumental in message and story development, communications technology platforms, design, employee communications, effective change management, community relations and social media. Responsibilities Communications Planning: Support communication strategies that align with Hayward's mission, vision and values Manage logistics and support routine communication deliverables (i.e., Town Halls, org announcements, internal storytelling, leadership conference) to strengthen culture and deliver on company goals Develop and disseminate communications calendars Monitor communication tools/channels (e.g., Sharepoint sites, mailboxes, blogs, newsletters, etc.). Content Creation and Distribution: Write, edit and review engaging content, including articles, presentations, videos, newsletters, digital signage, talking points and social media platforms Design in various platforms, like Canva, to produce materials Use storytelling to spotlight and recognize employees Manage (write and publish) employee portal content, infrastructure and improvement Develop and maintain distribution list / accounts for direct communications Ensure accuracy and clarity in all communications by following AP Style Change Management and Employee Engagement Initiatives: Collaborate with HR and other departments to support change communication efforts Support engagement activities such as culture surveys and events, reinforcing open channels Communications Standards: Establish and adhere to a communications standard and delivery model for the company to ensure consistency, quality and predictability of communications Create standard work as appropriate to maximize and promote best practice sharing Collaboration with Cross-Functional and Regional Teams: Act as a liaison across departments, gathering insights and updates to create relevant communications Partner with regional teams to adapt messaging for cultural relevance and effectiveness. Metrics and Analytics: Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication initiatives using metrics and feedback Recommend improvements to enhance the impact of our messaging. Qualifications What You'll Bring Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: 5+ years in internal communications, public relations, or a similar field. Experience with global or multicultural audiences is a plus. Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with an ability to convey complex information in clear, engaging ways. Skilled in crafting messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Content Creation and Digital Media: Proficiency in creating content across digital channels, including social media, intranets, and other internal platforms. Familiarity with communication tools and analytics software is preferred.
