    The Material Handler organizes production material to insure production/assembly effectiveness. Responsibilities Responsible for kitting and delivery of production parts to assigned production locations with correct quantity and removing any excess or unused parts back to home location. The material will be put into a warehouse location and moved in system with the RF scanner. Responsible for un-loading and receiving all inbound truck shipments. Material received will be checked by part number, quantity, packing slip and verifying packing slip to the product received. Receipt of material will also be checked for damage or the condition received in. If material is damaged, report to Supervisor immediately. Responsible for unloading all inbound shipments into the Receiving area for a Quality Assurance check. Once Quality Assurance has placed the green ticket on material, the material will be put into a warehouse location and moved in system with the RF scanner. When shipping finished goods, purchased parts, returned defective raw materials and any other shipments appropriate paperwork must be completed and turned in to the Data Entry Clerk. Responsible for individual audits in their work area, reconciling over-issue and any other counts necessary to maintain inventory accuracy. Responsible for keeping work area clean. This includes: removing empty pallets from work area, extra stretch wrap or banding, and the return of all unused parts from the production line back to warehouse location. When all job tasks are completed, notify the Supervisor for additional projects. In an effort to promote teamwork, it is mandatory to assist others in their job assignments. As a Hayward Project Manager, this position will manage and execute product design and developments from concept through volume production in a cross-functional team environment to ensure that the highest levels of design quality, reliability and performance are observed. Responsibilities Project Planning and Coordination - Consult with project sponsors and stakeholders to develop project plans for approved projects that include scope, deliverables, goals, dependencies, responsibilities and timelines. Coordinate project components including plan development, scope, task definition, progress monitoring and reporting, variances, project changes, resource planning, risk identification and mitigations. Provide leadership and project ownership for platform development projects for all business units at Hayward. Lead cross-functional engineering teams to meet product and company objectives. Define project milestones and report progress from concept to production. Contribute to Project Management Best Practices -Develop, maintain and implement project management tools and templates. Ensure adherence to the Hayward Gated Development Process (HPDS) & procedures that consider the specific deliverables and culture of Hayward. Ability to summarize and provide concise status reports of project progress to project stakeholders and Senior Leadership. Ability to anticipate and define issues encountered during product development and provide mitigation options and recommendations for resolution in real time. Set and manage expectations with project stakeholders, team members and sponsors on an ongoing basis. Manage outside vendors and partners through the product development process ensuring adherence to Hayward deliverables and standard practices. Collaborate with Hayward Engineering Services resources for Reliability Engineering and Product Testing and Compliance. Qualifications 5+ years of experience working in a multi-discipline product development environment. 1-3 years of experience leading cross-functional product development efforts. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills to effectively establish build and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff and external suppliers. Proven project coordination skills; able to manage multiple projects with conflicting time frames. Strong organizational skills with a focus on quality improvement opportunities; able to provide guidance to project team members. Excellent judgement and problem-solving skills; able to accurately assess the impact of action or recommendation. Facilitate discovery resolution using creativity and professionalism; demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing situations. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team balanced with self-direction to work independently. Ability to negotiate agreements with vendors, stakeholders and team members throughout the life of a project to achieve efficient cost and schedule performance and reach successful results. Superior communication skills - both oral and written; comfortable making presentations to a diverse audience of senior leaders and stakeholders. Experience with the design and development of medium to high-volume consumer products a plus. Demonstrated experience with the development of products from concept to final manufacture, balancing cost, performance and schedule requirements incorporating Voice of the Customer in the design process Knowledge of the product development process and the methods and tools necessary meet the expectations of the organization in a complex development environment is a must. Experience in electronics integration and packaging, including thermal management of electronics enclosures and cable routing/management. Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field. Demonstrated project management expertise and experience gained through on-the-job project coordination experience. Desired to have or intend to pursue certification in Project Management (such as CAPM, PMP etc.). #LI-LS1
