    Responsibilities Assist clients and staff with team needs throughout the facility. Assist with addressing the treatment process within the organizational guidelines, philosophies, policies and procedures. Review patient/client activities and relate observations to staff. Ensure building is in compliance with fire and safety regulations. Provide clerical support to the treatment team, medication services, patient scheduling and management of unit office/tech station. * Review and support the recovery activities of patients/clients and relate observations to appropriate staff. * As a member of the treatment team, assist patients/clients from admission through discharge. * As required by site, monitor and maintain patient/client's medications. * Ensure site/building is in compliance with safety regulations including fire and guest/visitor expectations (site-specific). * Driving responsibilities as needed * As required by site: * Accompany residents/patients/clients to scheduled appointments, meetings, grocery store, etc. * Manage money restricting program within organization guidelines. * Assist in performing toxicology screenings * Support resident/patient/client vocational goals Qualifications Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent * 21+ year of age * Current CPR certification or obtain within 30 days * Certification must be from American Red Cross or American Heart Association. Preferred Qualficiations: * Bachelor's degree * Previous experience working in the addiction treatment industry * Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook * 2 or more years' experience in understanding of the Twelve Step Process/Program * Insurance requires that individuals in this role have no major motor vehicle violations within the past 3 years * Insurance requires that individuals in this role have no capital violations within the last 5 years * 2 years free from chemical use Overview The Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation is the largest nonprofit addiction recovery organization in the United States. Responsibilities The Surgical Tech (ST/CST) in the Midwest Internal Travel Team at Mayo Clinic will rotate across Mayo Clinic sites in Minnesota and Wisconsin as determined by patient care needs. This temporary position has a projected end date of 6-months, with possible extension up to 1 year. As a Mayo Clinic employee, the Internal Travel Team ST/CST actualizes Mayo Clinic core values and culture. The ST/CST will travel on a routine basis to various locations. Flexibility and adaptability are essential in work assignments and work schedules. ST/CSTs support our OR environments to ensure they are safe, equipment functions properly, and procedures are conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. They are highly specialized experts in maintaining sterile environments. They gown and glove surgeons and assistants, sterile drape patients, and stand next to or across from surgeons to assist with surgeries. They are in charge of and handle all instruments, scrubs, sutures, implants, etc. They also count all instruments and supplies before, during, and after procedures. Our ST/CSTs are assigned to specialties within our enterprise depending on areas of experience as well as based on Mayo Clinic's need. Prepares sterile table for each procedure assuring required instruments are available to the physicians including suture, blades, cautery, suction, implants, medication and solutions. Assists in draping the surgical field to ensure correct exposure of operative site with respect to each patient's right to privacy, dignity, safety and comfort. Provides a quiet environment for the surgical patients. Assists the surgeon when she/he does not have an assistant. Correctly identifies items on back table. Applies basic and current knowledge of surgical instruments for a proficient performance of assigned functions. During the virtual interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. This position also assists with the care of female dogs throughout stages of pregnancy, including delivery of neonates and care of litters of puppies housed at the whelping center. Key Responsibilities Sanitation: Clean and disinfect kennels, equipment, and other items as needed using approved cleaning tools and methods. Maintenance: Provide general housekeeping, including laundry and cleaning. Report maintenance problems to a supervisor. Dog Care: Provide excellent husbandry care to dogs, including feeding, bathing, grooming, and teeth brushing as needed. Whelping: Assist with whelping and delivery. Veterinary Care: Administer treatments as necessary. Assist puppies with nursing and nutritional care when needed. Assist veterinary staff in execution of advanced medical tasks. Administrative Duties: Maintain and update dog records, care logs and daily task trackers. Effectively communicate and record all health concerns as appropriate.
