Eve Wachhaus has brought positive, collaborative, relationship development and leadership to the for-profit and non-profit arenas for over 25 years. Currently the COO of Hazon, overseeing operations at Pearlstone, a 180 acre retreat in Maryland and Isabella Freedman, a 400 acre retreat in Connecticut. As Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area from 2006-2014 Eve earned her place in Harrisburg Magazine’s Harrisburg’s top Movers & Shapers & was recipient of both the Distinguish Service award & the Excellence in Public Beautification award from the City of Harrisburg. Eve has been featured in Central PA’s “It’s (not) All About Eve”, CBS21’s Exclusive “Friends For Life” & Harrisburg Magazine's Face in the Crowd. Eve presented in 10+ webinars & conference presentations for Habitat for Humanity International from 2008-2014.

Eve’s lively past includes Principal Investigator for National Institutes of Health, Ford Foundation Fellow, Sole Proprietor of Eden Caterers, and F&B/event management positions with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company, Hyatt Regency Baltimore, The Museum Group, & Maryland Science Center. Eve’s volunteer efforts include several local boards, president of her synagogue, & a Junior Achievement mentor.

Eve holds a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University in Cultural Anthropology & a Foodservice Management Professional (FMP) from the National Restaurant Association.
