The pros at HCA Healthcare were the way this company recognized hard workers, with exceptional talents. Employee of the month awards. They offered discounted movie tickets, paid well and had employment badges that not only gave you access into different departmental doors but also could pay for food in the cafeteria allow you to swipe in and out at the time clock and could also be used to pay for items in the Hospital Gift shop! Excellent system and so easy for employees to use.
The hospital tube system to transport medications was always breaking down or getting stuck! Not allowing volunteers to deliver pharmacy items to the RN units when we were in dire need of help.
Paid vacation and being able to use our employee badges to pay for food, drinks and gifts!
That they recognized exceptional employees. Willing to provide excellent food for the employees and visitors. Seemed like they cared about keeping the hospital looking bright and clean and always expanding the size of the building and surrounding parking lots. They had an employee shuttle that brought employees up to the main hospital building from the parking lot , free of charge and also gave employees free parking.
I would bring back the Hospital picnic that occurred once a year for the families of the employees and would offer grants to employees to further their education.
Get to bed early the night before. Research and memorize key points about the HCA Company and specifically the Hospital I wanted to work. Plan an outfit that “ says” I am professional, neat & clean. Arrive to all interviews 10 minutes early.
My pay from HCA , located in California, was very good and seemed to keep up very well with the industry standards.
I believe that diversity was being practiced and that everyone was treated fairly, using the same HCA policies and procedures.
I really enjoyed being able to listen to music while working. I also enjoyed the comfort of scrubs as our uniform plus the exciting menu choices at lunch plus a day salad bar. My fellow employees were friendly , caring and extremely hard working. We all had a team mentality.
The atmosphere, the people I had the chance to meet! My team was wonderful!
The random lay offs they did without warning.
Working with a team even though it was remote you were included!
The staff and our manager
upper managment don’t care. Understaffed and underpaid.
My coworkers
I love my coworkers and my supervisor. We are a great team
They don't pay me enough to survive in this world alone.
Only work 3 days a week, I like 12 hour shifts. I also like how quickly PTO builds up
Great people, good management, lots of training available.
Sometimes long hours
Travel and flexibility. I go all over the country and get paid for doing it!
