1997

HD Supply was formed in 1997 as the professional services division of Home Depot.

2004

In 2004, Maintenance Warehouse changed its name to HD Supply.

2005

USABlueBook became part of the HD Supply family in 2005.

2006

In January 2006, Home Depot announced that it was acquiring Hughes Supply in a $3.2 billion deal.

2007

In 2007, Home Depot sold the company in an $8.5 billion deal to private equity firms Bain Capital, The Carlyle Group, and Clayton Dubilier & Rice.

2013

On June 27, 2013, HD Supply Holdings, Inc., the indirect parent of HD Supply, Inc., announced that it had priced an initial public offering of 53,191,489 shares of common stock at $18.00 per share.

2016

In 2016, USABlueBook, a business of HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, celebrated its 25th anniversary.

In 2016, its "Master Catalog" has grown nearly 1,800 pages with a product offering of more than 64,000 items.

2020

On November 16, 2020, HD Supply Holdings, Inc. announced an agreement to be reacquired by The Home Depot, Inc.
