RESPONSIBILITIES:
Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g., handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store).
Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g., DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre- and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly).
Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g., proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard.
Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma.
1 year of verifiable tractor trailer driving experience required. Food and/or beverage delivery experience a plus.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.

**Preferred Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field.
+ 2+ years management experience and/or sales management experience.
**Job Summary**
Responsible for all activities associated with operating the business, including managing the Sales, Administration and Operations departments. Ensure all policies and procedures and being followed by employees in branch.
**Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities**
+ Develops new business opportunities via the Sales team and maintains relationships with key customers.
+ Oversees strategic action plans for direct reports and ensures all company policies and procedures are being followed.
+ Manages monthly sales meetings and establishes local pricing strategy.
+ Recruits, hires, develops and mentors all direct reports.
+ Oversees P&L statements for branch and achieves budgeted sales and income goals set by the business.
+ Drives compliance of all company initiatives and supports all regional and national account programs.
+ Manages monthly sales projection report and develops annual sales and expense budget.
**Nature and Scope**
+ Solutions require analysis and investigation.
+ Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
+ Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.
**Work Environment**
+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
+ Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
+ Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
**Education and Experience**
+ Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
