Job Purpose In this role you will be responsible for planning, implementation, and management over the manufacturing activities in the assigned areas of the plant. In addition, you will ensure the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products within the assigned budget targets. Key Responsibilities * Manage people and deploy resources to support the needs of the business. Provide direct supervision and ensure organizational objectives align with plant and corporate objectives. * Provide feedback and mentorship to direct reports and foster a teamwork environment throughout the business unit. Meet day-to-day and short-term targets by setting priorities for the team and ensuring task completion. * Understand long-term vision and provide direction and resources to support World Class Manufacturing objectives and cost reduction targets. * Use of value stream maps to identify bottlenecks in the process and use of lean tools to eliminate those bottlenecks to meet production objectives. * Provide strategic as well as day to day oversight on manufacturing area to ensure target and objectives are met, meet quality standards, and meet or fall below budgeted production costs to meet marketplace demand. * Manage department budget and related costs related to assigned business unit. * Resolve issues related to production, machinery, processing and/or other operations. * Follow lean manufacturing tools and methodology to establish procedures and drive continuous improvement in the plant's manufacturing processes, including welding, painting, and/or assembly. * Coach, lead, and mentor employees throughout the assigned area to foster an environment of collaboration and employee development. * Other duties as assigned Experience Required * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience * Five (5) years of direct manufacturing experience * Five (5) or more years of direct supervisory and/or management experience within a manufacturing setting Preferred Qualifications Pay Transparency The annual salary for this role is USD $105,750.00 - $126,900.00 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
