HDR is currently in need of a Water/Wastewater Municipal Engineer to work as a member of our growing office in Houston or Corpus Christi, TX.
Primary Responsibilities:
In the role of Water/Wastewater Municipal Engineer, we'll count on you to:
* Design responsibilities include preparing construction documents, calculations, writing specifications, analysis and study-level reports for water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution, wastewater collection system, pump stations, site layouts, horizontal and vertical control, grading and drainage, paving, site utilities, determining appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection.
* Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
* Serving as owner's representative, coordination of inspection/observation activities, review and response to shop drawings, submittals, requests for clarification and other construction related correspondence, coordination of startup, commissioning and acceptance activities.
* Helps to coordinate the work of engineers and the balance of the multi-discipline project team throughout the entire project development.
* Conducts work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff.
* Perform other duties as needed
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Previous experience in general civil engineering
* Professional Engineer (PE) license.

Review progress, compliance, and clash detection reports produced by the project team utilizing platforms such as BIM360 or in the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
Able to provide input to estimates for the engineering budget and schedule, and to oversee technical resources to meet requirements on large and complex projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years' experience required working with BIM environments and applications
Minimum 3+ years' experience in the integration and application of BIM in a multi-disciplinary environment, managing a team of more than 5 BIM modellers
Strong technical skills related to various Common Data Environment platforms, particularly Autodesk BIM360 and/or the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bentley system MicroStation, Dynamo, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro, 3Ds Max, SketchUp, and PowerPoint

Primary Responsibilities

Arcadis seeks a Principal Program Manager to join our Energy Transition team. This position will include leading client development as well as managing the delivery of multi-discipline consulting and engineering services. In this role, you will be a key member of Arcadis' national practice and will lead and direct the planning, development and delivery of energy projects throughout North America. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced professional with an extensive background in managing front end planning, engineering, procurement, and construction of large power, energy, and/or industrial manufacturing projects.
Role accountabilities:
As a Principal Program Manager, you will work with company leadership to assess, develop, and implement growth strategies across the US Energy market. This will require frequent networking with clients, both virtually and in person, to understand their needs and develop solutions. During project delivery you will be the client point of contact and responsible for overall technical, commercial, and financial performance of projects, including project management responsibilities for scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, change, and contracts. You will work collaboratively with, cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, to ensure project KPIs are met. Extensive experience with energy systems consulting and advisory services in general, specialization could include conventional power, renewables, natural gas, hydrogen, and/or alternative energy technologies.
