The A&P Mechanic - Boeing 737-MAX 8 BBJ is responsible for performing high-level maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on the Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) MAX 8 aircraft. This position supports a VIP/ VVIP aviation environment that requires exceptional technical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and the highest standards of safety, confidentiality, and professionalism.
The ideal candidate has advanced experience with the 737-MAX platform, knowledge of BBJ-specific systems and modifications, and the ability to maintain both airframe and cabin systems to meet elevated customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Aircraft Maintenance & Repair
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the 737-MAX 8 BBJ, including A/B checks, cabin systems maintenance, and BBJ-specific modifications.
Troubleshoot and repair MAX-series systems, including advanced avionics, fly-by-wire spoiler systems, LEAP-1B engines, and modernized electrical architecture.
Conduct inspections and repairs on high-end interiors, cabin management systems (CMS), entertainment systems, lighting, galley equipment, and VIP-customized installations.
Execute component replacements, SB/AD compliance, structural repairs, and configuration-controlled cabin changes per BBJ documentation.
Support AOG recovery and rapid-response troubleshooting in remote or international locations as needed.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all maintenance actions comply with FAA regulations, company procedures, and BBJ-specific maintenance programs.
Accurately document work performed in digital maintenance tracking systems and aircraft logbooks.
Review and apply Boeing AMM, BBJ CMP, SRM, IPC, WDM, and service bulletins.
Coordinate with Quality Assurance for inspections, major repairs, and return-to-service authorization.
Inspection, Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
Perform detailed inspections of airframe, powerplant, avionics, and high-touch cabin systems unique to BBJ configuration.
Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and built-in test systems (BITE) to identify and resolve MAX 8 discrepancies.
Conduct borescope inspections on LEAP-1B engines, APU troubleshooting, and avionics system evaluations.
VIP Cabin, Interior & Special Systems Support
Maintain and repair VIP furnishings, luxury materials, cabinetry, and premium finishes.
Troubleshoot and support Cabin Management Systems (CMS), satellite communications, Wi-Fi, Blu-ray/AV systems, and aircraft internet hardware.
Work closely with flight crews and cabin staff to ensure the aircraft meets VVIP standards of comfort and functionality.
Safety, Quality & Operational Excellence
Uphold the highest levels of safety, confidentiality, and customer service expected in VIP aviation environments.
Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes, reliability programs, and long-term fleet health monitoring.
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly follow OSHA, company, and regulatory safety protocols.
Coordinate with operations, flight crew, engineering, and supply chain for aircraft readiness and mission reliability.
Required Qualifications
Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
3-5+ years of experience maintaining Boeing 737 platforms, ideally the MAX series.
Strong experience with:
Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) interior and cabin systems
LEAP-1B engines and MAX-series avionics
Digital maintenance platforms (AMOS, TRAX, CMP, or equivalent)
VIP cabin repairs, CMS systems, and premium interiors

Valid Sprinkler Technician License with the ability to obtain an Oklahoma Sprinkler Technician License within 90 days of employment.
Ability to obtain Oklahoma Fire Extinguisher License.
Must be knowledgeable in addressable and conventional alarm panels.
Must be knowledgeable in water mist special hazard systems.
Must be knowledgeable in CO2 special hazard systems.
Must be knowledgeable in testing backflow devices.
Must be knowledgeable in testing of fire pumps.

Job Overview
The Fuel Distribution System Mechanic receives, stores, transfers, logs fuel data. The Mechanic may inspect and assist with the repair of pipelines, hoses and other connecting systems. Essential Duties & Job Functions:
* Observes and interprets readings on gauges, meters, and charts which register various aspects of fuel maintenance and delivery operations.
* Adjusts controls to insure safe and efficient operation and to meet demands for fuel.
* Cleans strainers, filters, fuel tanks and distribution lines removing corrosion and re-painting surfaces.
* Lubricates pumps, and replaces gaskets, seals, and fuel filters as needed.

Job Requirements
Mandatory:
* High school graduate or equivalent GED.
* Five (5) years of experience in operation of fuel distribution systems including delivery, repair and maintenance.
* Hold or obtain a Class A and B Fuel Certification (Underground Storage Tank - UST) within 90 days.
* Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.

* Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
* Valid state driver's license and suitable driving record.

Your role:
In your role as a Warehouse Aircraft Technical Inspector, you will serve as team member responsible for assessing the serviceability and condition of various aviation components IAW Army Regulations, Technical Manuals, policies, and procedures. As a member of a warehouse team, you will use your experience and knowledge to ensure condition accuracy, traceability, and asset accountability across a range of activities associated with supply chain management. Your position will report to the Quality Lead and is a part of a multi team effort to support multiple customer requirements.
What you'll do all day:
Processes the technical experience to supervise subordinate mechanics and provide technical guidance on maintenance operations on the airframe being supported.
A person in this position maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty, maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems and mechanical components, and applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in determining equipment malfunctions and applies technical expertise in restoring equipment condition and operation.
This worker also applies professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals.
Work typically requires a thoroughly comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting/repair procedures and replacement of components, a thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modification and repair and the ability to determine functionality of non-complex electrical systems.
A detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable densitometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. is required.
Must possess the experience and ability to provide technical support to structural/mechanical engineers and customers alike, must possess excellent organizational skills in prioritizing workload to meet aircraft delivery schedule.
Plan and conduct aircraft components technical inspections. Understands the fundamentals and inspection techniques of general aviation maintenance.
Performs troubleshooting and analyze electrical/electronic systems.
Provide technical guidance to repairers performing aircraft components and subsystem maintenance on maintenance techniques and safety procedures.

Experience:
1-3 Years of experience involving battery industry or related experience, preferably within a field service environment. Prior sales or customer service in a field service environment, strongly preferred.
