In the role of Senior Strategic Communications Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
* Assist with the development and implementation of communications plans (target audience strategy, media relations and tracking, collateral material, comment response programs, overall activity schedule, information lines, contact databases, and activity reporting)
* Work with project managers, engineers, architects, designers and other subject matter experts to develop and write white papers, feature article content, thought leadership articles, and social media posts.
* Help develop collateral pieces and other marketing campaign materials
* Research, write and edit project narratives and case studies
* Plan events for public meetings, hearings, open houses, focus groups, workshops, advisory committees, and other stakeholder meetings
* Manage communications database information and web-based project management tools (Adobe, SharePoint, Staging Sites, Contact Logs, etc)
* Manage comment database including distribution list, logging sign-in sheets, comment coding, comment response and reporting and document outreach activities including activity tracking and reporting.
* Coordinate multi-discipline teams in the development and production of deliverables.
* Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a closely related field, or combination of education and relevant experience
* Previous consulting and/or creative agency experience
* Virtual engagement experience desired

* A minimum of 8 years relevant industry experience

In the role of Digital Design Lead, we'll count on you to:
* Work for a specific discipline, with minimal direction from the Architect/Engineer, or other technical professional
* Be responsible for their discipline model and will generate the BIM elements, based on the Level of Development (LOD) outlined in the Digital Delivery Plan (DDP) and project scope

Required Qualifications

Michael Baker International is seeking a motivated Environmental Specialist - Air Quality, Greenhouse Gas (GHG), and Noise Studies to support the high-quality consultant teams in Santa Ana office.
This Environmental Specialist - Air Quality/Noise position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience as an analyst conducting modeling and impact assessment of air quality/GHG and/or noise in conformance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
Specific responsibilities would include the following:
Conduct air quality analysis (criteria air pollutant emissions, general air quality conformity, air toxics and health risk assessments, source dispersion modeling) using models such as CalEEMod and EMFAC.
Conduct GHG emissions/climate change analysis (construction and operation emissions, source reductions, climate change policy/climate action plan consistency assessment) using CalEEMod.
Quantify construction, stationary and mobile noise levels using computer models such as the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Traffic Noise Model (TNM), FHWA Roadway Construction Noise Model (RCNM), and SoundPLAN program.
Conduct ambient noise measurements using ANSI Type I sound level meters.
Assess compliance with applicable standards and CEQA significance thresholds.
Research local ordinances, general plan policies, and federal guidance, as applicable, to identify applicable impact significance thresholds and compliance standards for analyses in different jurisdictions.
Prepare technical studies and CEQA/NEPA document sections.
While experience in both noise and air quality/GHG is desirable, if the selected candidate has only noise or only air quality/GHG analysis experience, Michael Baker will provide training in the other service area.
This position is best suited for a candidate with a positive attitude and strong research, writing, mathematical/scientific, analytical, and verbal communication skills. This individual must have the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple planning project managers, and to prioritize and complete high-quality work within specified deadlines and budgets. The applicant must have a strong work ethic, positive attitude and experience working in a team-oriented environment.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in an environmental science, planning, engineering, or related field.

Knowledge of California and federal regulations and guidance pertaining to air quality, GHG, and noise issues, including the Clean Air Act, Assembly Bill 32, Title 24, and CEQA/NEPA.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; a demonstration of these skills may be required during the interview.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs, including Word and Excel.
Additional skills considered a plus:

COMPENSATION

Tasks may include:
Data collection, review, organization, and analysis of stormwater reports, inspections, and sampling records
Site reviews, field inspections, and stormwater sampling at construction sites and industrial facilities. Coordination with construction site managers, contractors, and other project personnel will be needed.
Development of stormwater management and compliance plans, specifications, and estimates, as well as preparation of stormwater permits. Plans include Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (ESCPs) Water Pollution Control Plans (WPCPs), Low Impact Development (LID) Plans, and Water Quality Management Plans (WQMPs). Role accountabilities:
