Primary Responsibilities
HDR is seeking a Commissioning Project Manager/MEP Coordinator with the technical skills and desire to help support our North American Commissioning Team. This position will be based out of our Walnut Creek office.
* On a day-to-day basis, this individual will be expected to:
* Oversee all phases of commissioning for our clients, including design phase commissioning, factory and integrator commissioning, construction phase commissioning, acceptance testing and post acceptance commissioning.
* Verify and audit that the general contractor, trade contractors, equipment vendors, and commissioning agents are in compliance with the client's construction quality and commissioning program.
* Manage commissioning meetings, maintain project commissioning notes, understand how to work within deadlines and project constraints.
* Drive the timely and comprehensive resolution of commissioning related issues.
* Maintain communications with the client and all project stakeholders.
* Conduct field inspections of MEP equipment installations, witness testing.
* Travel as required, based on project assignments (< 15%)
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Drug Testing required for this role-it is a safety sensitive position
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous Data Center experience strongly desired
* Engineering degree and/or LEED accreditation
* A strong controls background is highly desirable

Required Qualifications
* 4 years of industry experience dealing with mechanical, electrical and controls disciplines
* Proven ability to lead commissioning efforts from design through project completion
* Should have a passion for sustainability and knowledge of the commissioning process and experience with design, installation and operation of building systems (including but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and controls)
* Must be willing to travel to site-based locations as reasonably based on HDR needs
* Must have demonstrated ability to troubleshoot HVAC, TAB, and Controls and have excellent report writing skills
* Must have a solid understanding of operational requirements, safety requirements, code inspections and maintenance considerations
* Strong written, verbal communication and time management skills; exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to interact with people at all levels
* Technical knowledge of MEP systems and HVAC expertise
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

HDR is seeking a qualified Biologist/Regulatory Specialist to support and potentially lead environmental permitting, and biology technical work on small, medium, and large projects in California. This is a unique opportunity that supports projects in our transportation, water, and natural resources market sectors. It will provide unique experiences in field work, report writing, analysis, and permitting in close coordination with project team members and subject matter experts that will foster learning and skill development across multiple disciplines and project types.
In this role, we'll count on you to proactively lend your biological resources knowledge and practical expertise by:
* Conducting wildlife and/or botanical and/or wetland surveys including species surveys and habitat evaluations.
* Developing biological resources technical reports, assessments, focused studies, and regulatory permitting applications.

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Water Resources Engineer to join our Climate Adaptation and Water Management, and Design and Engineering Teams based in either San Francisco, CA, or Los Angeles, CA.

Role accountabilities:
As a Senior Structural Water Resources Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering engineering and consulting services for a variety of projects, including those focused on shoreline stability, flood risk reduction, and waterfront infrastructure resilience. Your responsibilities include leading structural analysis, design, and construction efforts for climate adaptation projects, such as seismic risk reduction, flood mitigation, and infrastructure resilience initiatives. You will serve as a project manager and technical lead across a diverse range of projects, overseeing design development, evaluating solutions, and guiding construction implementation. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential to deliver innovative and sustainable structural solutions that align with industry codes and standards. You will also be responsible for managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful completion within established timelines. Travel may be required for project-related activities, including client meetings and site visits.

15+ years of relevant experience
Professional Engineer license in California

Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related discipline

Proficiency in structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, MathCAD, AutoCAD, and Revit.
Progressive experience in structural engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects related to water management, flood control, and seismic resilience.

* Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
