SUMMARY: The Employment Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Employment Services Department, including the supervision of all employment staff. SUMMARY The Mental Health Specialist 2 (MHS 2) works to support people in recovery from serious mental illness. The Registered Nurse Trainer promotes proper medical awareness and education by merging proven techniques for adult learners and expert medical knowledge. The RNT coordinates and monitors the delivery of appropriate medical services and health care support to program participants utilizing their clinical expertise. The RNT provides training and measurable performance evaluation to staff and program participants in both general and specific issues of health, safety, policies and procedures of medication administration ensuring that standards are consistently met and align with the agency mission and objectives. Collaborates with other members of the interdisciplinary team in staffing when medical condition affects daily programming as identified in Personal Plan and or Implementation Strategy. Coordinates and provides classroom and on-site training to direct support staff on the medical issues, interventions, techniques, medication administration required by each program participant. Completes all agency training requirements and secures additional information, education, and training as is appropriate to remain abreast of new knowledge, technologies, and methodologies including but not limited to IL DHS Rule 116. Anixter Adult Literacy Program is seeking a volunteer to work with the Literacy Coordinator to support our deaf and hard of hearing clients. The time commitment is very flexible-an average of 2-6 hours a week, depending on interest and availability. Regular outreach to select organizations for tutor recruiting, such as AmeriCorps, Illinois Retired Teacher Association, etc. Work with Literacy Coordinator to recruit appropriate tutor volunteers and coordinate necessary training. Help manage tutor pipeline and onboarding, including recruitment, application process, training, etc. Regular posting of ASL Deaf Tutor job ads on sites such as AARP, Indeed, Volunteer Match, etc. Research, adapt and refine literacy curriculum for use by adult learners who are dear or hard of hearing. Design adult literacy unit plans and curriculum REQUIREMENTS (Competencies, skills, abilities, experience, education necessary.) Bilingual (Proficient in English and ASL. Must take ASL proficiency test) Must possess a current driver's license Bachelor's Degree teaching experience preferred Ability to promote and adhere to company values.
