Pros of working at Health Alliance Plan

The salary is very good. The building is great, although I mostly work remote. The benefits are good. The hours a good. I like the volunteer opportunities. I like most of the staff members.

Cons of working at Health Alliance Plan

The dental and eye benefits are poor considering we are a health organization. It is a top down bureaucratic style work environment. At least my dept. "listens to ideas of employees" than does nothing or they do it and give credit to themselves instead of the employee who had the idea. Management seems to be a bunch of "yes" men or women" no one in management I know of challenges anything or appreciates when employees challenge poor policy. They are resistant to any change which would improve. Too many "egos" in management that take constructive criticism too personally with thin skin. We have great talented workforce and should embrace all ideas without castigation.
