The anticipated hourly rate for this position starts at $16/hr. What you will be doing: Receive, verify, and safely store incoming shipments in compliance with fire codes. Pull and prepare outgoing orders; load shipments and coordinate changes with operations. Create receiving reports for deliveries missing documentation. Tag pallet spaces accurately and maintain proper pallet identification. Repair or replace damaged pallets; dispose of unusable ones. Conduct routine inventory checks and spot audits; report discrepancies to Purchasing. Optimize warehouse space by consolidating pallets and managing layout. Perform daily forklift safety checks and basic equipment maintenance. Communicate with operations regarding linen inventory levels and needs. The Warehouse Clerk position in our purchasing department in Emmaus, PA supports the warehouse by providing critical inventory control support coverage and assisting with garment areas. The anticipated hourly rate for this position starts at $16/hr. What you will be doing: * Receive, verify, and safely store incoming shipments in compliance with fire codes. * Pull and prepare outgoing orders; load shipments and coordinate changes with operations. * Schedule carriers for inbound and outbound logistics. * Enter inventory transactions, feedback, and receipts into the system; run weekly accuracy reports. * Create receiving reports for deliveries missing documentation. * Tag pallet spaces accurately and maintain proper pallet identification. * Repair or replace damaged pallets; dispose of unusable ones. * Conduct routine inventory checks and spot audits; report discrepancies to Purchasing. * Optimize warehouse space by consolidating pallets and managing layout. * Perform daily forklift safety checks and basic equipment maintenance. * Communicate with operations regarding linen inventory levels and needs. What you will bring to the role: * High school diploma or GED is required and a minimum of 2 years of previous warehouse experience. * Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) skills. * Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Strong time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of HCSC. Additional information: This position is based in Emmaus, PA. and will be responsible for working the following schedule: The scheduled hours for this position are Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm.
