Your ability to assess, diagnose and make recommendations for Legacy's primary care clinic patients, and will ensure that proper care and support is provided. Throughout your work in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary primary care teams, you'll lend compassion and thoughtful insights in the treatment of complex psychiatric patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations, for patients in primary care clinics who have psychiatric or behavioral health comorbidities.

The psychiatric nurse practitioner will conduct an examination and order relevant laboratory studies to help determine a diagnosis to make treatment recommendations to the patient and primary care provider. The treatment recommendations might include biological as well as psychotherapeutic modalities and will also include a recommendation for an appropriate setting for the delivery of this care.

When appropriate, the psychiatric nurse practitioner will initiate treatment and continue to monitor the patient's progress until stabilization. Once stabilized the patient may continue to follow-up with the psychiatric nurse practitioner or may be referred to the primary care provider. The psychiatric nurse practitioner will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary primary care teams to ensure high quality patient care. Provide support and educational training for physicians and non-physician staff in providing care for complex psychiatric patients and their families.

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner remains responsible for the patient throughout the course of the treatment and will determine when the patient will be released from care

Qualifications:

• Education - As required by licensure.
• Experience - A minimum of 2 years clinical experience is preferred.

Licensure:

• Applicable state RN license required.
• National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) required.
• Current applicable state license as a Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP) required.
• Possess a national Nursing certification allowing billing for Medicare.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Job Order Hourly rate of pay: $16.00 (Based on education and/or years of related work experience reflected on the application.)

This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Public Safety Prisons Central Regional Office Anson Correctional Institution. This position will collect specimens according to established procedures. Complete all data entry requirements accurately including data entry of patient registration; entry of test order from requisition; managing standing orders. Data entry and processing specimens including: labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and freezing specimens as required by test order. Perform clerical duties when assigned such as data entry, inventory, stock supplies, and answer phones when needed. Read and understand and comply with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies

* Completion of phlebotomy training program with one year experience

* Demonstrated ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school or General Educational Development diploma; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Special Necessary Requirement: Certification as a Nursing Assistant II by the NC Board of Nursing, or certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or completed phlebotomy training program.

We're currently seeking a motivated, team-oriented professional to help us grow our Plant Health Care operations. This is a challenging year-round position requiring a desire to work outdoors, knowledge of plant I.D., pests and diseases, as well as practical experience in spraying, fertilization and IPM. You will be asked to help identify and create plant health care plans, price out applications, applying control measures and fertilization applications to trees and shrubs on our commercial maintenance properties. As a PHC technician you will scout, diagnose, treat sites and provide feedback to your project director on pest populations, disease stresses and plant health. The ideal candidate will be able to help us grow this increasingly important aspect of our tree care business and along the way further their own career.

You'd be responsible for:

+ Applying fertilizers and pesticides to lawns according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions

+ Collaborate with the branch team on plant health care opportunities

+ Self-motivated to develop PHC opportunities and personal professional development

+ Build relationship with chemical suppliers and manufacturers

+ Schedule work, open and close work orders accurately, efficiently and timely

+ Effective and confident communicator with co-workers and clients

+ Must be organized and look for efficiencies and streamlining PHC production and chemical storage/reporting

+ Driving company vehicle to customer locations

+ Responding on a timely basis to customer requests

+ Completing required production forms and customer instructions

+ Performing a daily five-minute, 360 degree inspection of truck and equipment before taking the vehicle out on the road and upon return

+ Maintaining vehicle and equipment cleanliness, safety, and general maintenance

+ Ability to become a licensed spray operator (QAL)

+ ISA Certified Arborist and must be maintained throughout employment

+ Analytical skills and basic math skills

+ Strong communication skills (listening, oral and written)

+ Able to switch between tasks and prioritize

+ Strong knowledge related to horticulture, arboriculture and chemicals (e.g. pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers)
