Our Brands Responsibilities Scope of Services The Independent Contractor-Family Support Services will provide family support services designed to improve family functioning and child well-being. Services may include, but are not limited to: Coordinating with community providers to facilitate comprehensive care and referrals for families Participating in collaborative case planning and case review meetings, when requested Delivering case management activities such as: Supervised visitation Parent aide support Behavioral Aide Transportation Crisis intervention Advocacy and linkage to services (including drug screening facilitation if applicable) Completing in-home visits to monitor progress and provide ongoing support for families involved with DFCS. Thriveworks is currently seeking Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners in Georgia. ***Clinicians need to be licensed and living in the state in which they will be practicing.*** Compensation: This is a Fee for Service (W2) position, the range for this position is $130,000-$187,000 per year based on 25-35 clinical hours per week. To maintain safety and best practices for our clinicians and patients via telemedicine, Thriveworks does not push or incentivize the use of stimulant medications; instead, we offer them as an option based on the client's specific symptoms and diagnosis, with prescribing decisions left to the discretion of the clinician. We do not currently treat substance use disorders, and make every effort to refer out to an in-person provider when symptoms arise that are too severe to be treated via telemedicine only. Thriveworks Nurse Practitioners are expected to provide care to a diverse population of clients with mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more. They work with a broad range of age groups, primarily adults and adolescents, with a future focus on expanding care across the lifespan. Deliver therapeutic interventions in individual, group, and family therapy sessions. Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. Minimum of two years' experience working with children and/or families, which may include internships. JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION This position is part of a 24/7/365 high volume, suicide prevention focused team. This position will answer statewide 988 chat/texts and conduct. As a part of this team, you'd be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments and appropriate service linkage for individuals who are experiencing emotional distress. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent computer skills, a proven ability to communicate effectively through written communication/instant messaging and the ability to multi-task in a high stress environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Demonstrate high level of clinical knowledge and skill in providing telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments. Answer crisis contacts via Zoom contact center or the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety and identify appropriate community resources to best meet individual needs. Conduct follow-up calls for individuals who are deemed moderate to high risk for suicide. Meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation. Actively participate in ongoing supervision, training and team meetings. Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette. Demonstrate knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources. Promote a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other cross-functional departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public at large.
